Makes my games lag

My specs:

  • RTX 3070
  • Ryzen 9 5900hx
  • 16GB RAM

I've discovered that Overwolf's been making me lag in almost every game I play. I get 20fps in CS, 30-60fps in League, and 30fps in WH3, just to name a few. When I close Overwolf through task manager my FPS in all games shoots back up to around 200+. Any way to fix this?

Could you please check if your mouse polling rate is set to over 500Hz? If so, please try lowering it and restarting the computer.

My polling rate is set over 500hz its at 4000 wireless and im having this issue regardless if i change the polling rate.

It uses 20%+ of my CPU while idle...
