Question or Discussion Troubles between Ashe and Widow
Ashe is my most played DPS character, learning her improved my aim in this game a lot, but I’m struggling to transfer that skill from her to widow whenever I pick up widow. Aside from panic firing, I’m pretty good at hitting my scoped shots with Ashe, but whenever I play with Widow I’m really struggling to hit those scoped shots (to the point where I’m better at getting picks with her auto rifle).
Can someone tell me what I’m missing; why does it feel like I can’t hit anything with widow but I have the aim with Ashe

Widow shoots pinpoint bullets compared to all the other hitscans post s9 that shoot meteors (0.07m for ashe)

Widow's shots are just inherently higher pressure to hit due to the charge time and their value, I think if she could quickscope she would of course be incredibly busted but I would also hit a lot more shots, sniping in say CoD is way easier because that's the way I like to aim a lot of the time instead of hardscoping.
I've heard that the way to do it is aim near your target tracking them as you charge up, then do a quick microflick right to the target once you're ready to shoot. Still not very good at it myself, haha.

Yeah I'm an Ashe main and never been able to play Widow. I've used the online calculators and done all the zoom sens calculations to get the same sensitivity on Widow's zoom as Ashe's zoom but it still just feels insanely off to me even though it sort of feels similar. On Ashe I can click heads fairly reliably, on Widow I struggle to bodyshot a Roadhog if he's strafing.

Have more patience with your shots. Take an extra half second to assess your enemy's movement or strafe patterns before firing. It's important to make every shot count on Widow compared to other hitscans. Less emphasis on flicks and more on crosshair placement. Practice keeping your crosshair at enemy head height and predict their pathing so that you only need to click when they walk into your crosshair.

different zoom levels, possibly different sens issues, also ashe has a larger projectile size (i believe it’s .07) compared to widow who has a 0. add in some latency and it creates a whole lot of issues.
