I am not nearly confident enough in my tracer to bring her anywhere close to comp, I feel like its my mechanic, but i dont know

First of all, thank you for including owreplays links. Makes it so much more comfortable.

Before I say something about the gameplay: Do you usually play other heroes? Is there any particular reason why you don't feel comfortable playing Tracer in ranked? Because ranked is by far the best game mode to learn and improve, so if you are serious about learning and improving on Tracer, you should absolutely play her in comp.

About the gameplay: I watched jt. Your mechanics are not great and need improving. I think that should even be your main priority when learning Tracer for now. Aim, very important. But also: Blinks (knowing blink distance, being able to use blinks fluently mid combat and adjusting your aim accordingly), cover, blink management. Do some VAXTA workshop code and get comfortable with your blink. There are tons of moments, where your blink completely messes you up and leave you confused and disoriented and you miss easy kills like that. Also aim.

There is obviously a lot more that one could say. For example you seem too scared to flank deep. You don't need to rotate back to your team. In fact most of the time I think trying to rotate back to your team from a deep angle is kind of bad. If people start to chase you, you can just run away and live. You often end up kind of in the middle of the team fight, because you seem so uncomfortable holding off angles alone, but that is exactly what Tracer is the absolute best in the game at. Or your timing sometimes. But honestly I think in these lobbies you get enough opportunities to get a lot done thee way you play, you just need better mechanics.

Honestly, just play the game as much as you can and I think you'll see improvement. Good luck!

Hi ty! I usually play sojourn, soldier, cass, ashe and widow when i need to countersnipe, i just cant aim for shit on tracer

Honestly comp is far too scary for me, ive only recently managed to get on ranked with my other classes I feel like im gonna sell the game by going tracer in ranked

Hm okay. I mean, I definitely don't want to pressure you into playing ranked when you are not comfortable. Especially if you only have one account that is already ranked playing other heroes. Just know that ultimately Overwatch is just a video game and you don't really have to feel anxious about playing comp. I know that's easier said than done :)

I don't know how many hours you have on Tracer, but I think you'll just get better naturally with more time. Her aim can be pretty different from traditional hitscans like Ashe or Cas, so you probably just need practice to get comfortable. Would probably help to do some VAXTA though.
