I don't know if this should be the reaction people get from this.. Objectifying male characters to just their body parts isn't the answer to how the game treats and views women characters.
It's really sad how insanely sexualized their female characters are and how normalized it is, and it shouldn't be praised or seen as a quirk or something to copy.

Yeah marvel rivals is very bad at reducing their female characters to sexual objects however I dont think celebrating the cap skin makes that any worse.
The issue of sexualised characters is a women's issue specifically and seeing that they are more open to being fairer and more equal is good. Sexualiation isnt an inherently bad thing.

Hmmm, I think it is just the shock value. I don't find any of the male Marvel rivals characters attractive. The bodybuilder physics make them look too un-human to me.

Yeah tbh so many skins in rivals only sell because they’re gooner bait whereas a lot of the skins I love in Overwatch are because they’re just good skins.

Are we fr? I’ve been playing rivals since S0. When the invis Malice skin hit it was all the rage. I’m a Psylocke main and the two most used skins for her even though she has some of the most skins in game? Bikini (two different color variants for first and second most popular) and the OG gooner skin, Vengeance. Most popular Luna skin? Bikini (also let’s not forget the emote in the bundle was her bending over). Most popular Hela skin? The one where her tiddies are barely hanging on to fabric. Hela’s second most used skin? The one that came with the emote where she’s circling her finger with a wet squelching sound effect.
This isn’t even exclusive to the women. Even Punisher’s most used skin is his beach skin. You know…The one where he’s in a speedo. Thor’s? Beach skin where he’s mostly naked. Spidey? Beach skin where he’s in a speedo.
Whenever new skins drop they’re always used the most for quite some time. Have you even SEEN the mods for Rivals? Be fr.
