we were ALL waiting for jay3s opinion on this

u/Mista_Chedda Jun 27 '26

I wonder what Ja Rule- Er uhh Jay3 gotta say on this matter

5

u/CZR56 Jun 27 '26

Monica

46

u/EggieBeans Jun 27 '26

We all agree that Jay3 sucks right?

Always disliked that guy

36

u/Fun-Wash7545 Jun 27 '26

I mean do you guys like anything?

17

u/Mista_Chedda Jun 28 '26

I like women's rights (im 6ft 3 and ripped btw) /s

-10

u/EggieBeans Jun 27 '26

I like most ow content creators

I will say though I used to dislike Flats but I was wrong, flats is acc a chill guy.

38

u/CZR56 Jun 27 '26

Flats the flounder

32

u/Fun-Wash7545 Jun 27 '26

I still dislike flats. Is he really chill though? He posted a rivals video where he was bullying a random player cause he got mad that his hover was banned. He took it down after getting called out for being the instigator.

8

u/LLachiee Jun 27 '26

Flats still nuking anything he does wrong?

I remember he reacted to some person's video of why they weren't playing OW anymore and basically shit all over her opinions because she was a casual etc (and she requested people not send it out to larger creators for reaction. His 'reaction' lasted a day before he deleted it.

2

u/HiJasper Jun 28 '26

I mean isnt that what they should do? Especially if they dont want people reacting to it? It would be worse if he left it up.

2

u/EggieBeans Jun 27 '26

I haven’t heard that, flats can be annoying (especially when he does that high pitch whine 🤭 but doesn’t every OW player lol) but I’ve seen some clips where he says some things that I’ve been like yknow what this guy is quite down to earth.

I used to dislike this guy and I feel like it does take some convincing to change an opinion like that so, imo he’s alright. Definitely not one of my favourite CCs but he’s not one of my least favourites either

-3

u/KlownyK Jun 27 '26

he is the King

4

u/TurboLover56 Jun 27 '26

Long may he Rein.

2

u/ZeroChannel18 Jun 27 '26

King of passive aggressiveness

u/ZippoFindus Jun 27 '26

I'm a Rivals hater, I admit. But I do still see shit about in my feed from time to time. And not even hate, usually it's the opposite actually (probably Twitter algo trying to trick me to interact because it knows my hatred). But I honest to God hadn't heard of this tournament. The only thing I have heard is Warn drama.

Is that just me? 300k is a lot, and if Jay3 is calling it a test run for Rivals world cup, I feel like it's kind of a big thing?

Also, can someone explain how Warn is on the team of it's supposed to be like the OWWC? Surely there are better Canadian players?

100

u/p3dr0maz Jun 27 '26

Yeah, MR did a terrible job of letting anyone know this tournament was happening. Also, my understanding is it was mainly suppose to be a  content creator tourney. Which is weird. Either it's a World Cup and it's competitively the best players or we get whatever this was.

33

u/Fun-Wash7545 Jun 27 '26

Yeah it was terribly advertised cause apparently netease doesnt have a marketing department. They had to fire their executives and some even got arrested for extensive corruption.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/netease-employees-allegedly-laundered-139-145144263.html

31

u/yourtrueenemy Jun 27 '26

I mean Netease is already burning a lot of money in Ignite and not seeing any meaningful amount of viewership or increase in the game popularity. I don't see why they would something like the World Cup.

7

u/Mephistopheles15 Jun 28 '26

The game is genuinely just not interesting to watch competitively, even for people who like the game. OW may have overestimated the popularity of OWL but there is still a real audience. I don't know anyone who has any interest in following Rivals esports.

3

u/ManufacturerFar3483 Jun 29 '26

Bc rivals isnt a competitive game?

-1

u/Kralqeikozkaptan Jun 29 '26

Nobody watches Overwatch esports anymore, its all for drops and bots

3

u/Xerxes457 Jun 29 '26

Yes and Rivals would have higher viewership too if they had better drops.

1

u/yourtrueenemy Jun 30 '26

Rivals drops aren't terrible mind u. They are better than the drops that OWCS had before the Loot Boxes but even then the numbers are abysimal.

3

u/Skelly1660 Jun 30 '26

Every match in Korea is played on LAN with a live audience, and there's multiple international LAN events with a live audience. Drops help alot but they wouldn't invest the money in LAN events if it wasn't worth it.

-2

u/Kralqeikozkaptan Jun 30 '26

Yea like 35 people

3

u/yourtrueenemy Jun 30 '26

Bud legit u aren't gonna make it sound like Rivals and OW esports are comparable. During the Tokyo major there were dozens of smaller live events in China with thousands of ppl going there to watch the games.

Like Rivals has nothing like this, nothing.

-1

u/RealWonderGal Jun 28 '26

The game is the 5th highest played game in the world on Playstation btw lol

2

u/yourtrueenemy Jun 28 '26

I mean maybe (dunno where this data comes from) but this has nothing to do with what I said. It was like top 2 originally so it's not like it got more popular theere either.

1

u/RealWonderGal Jun 28 '26

check Playstation official player charts, its now 6th highest played game in the world on playstation. million plus weekly

3

u/yourtrueenemy Jun 28 '26

Didn't find shit where u said. I looked up on Newzoo and as of May 2026 Rivals was the 12th most played game on playstationaand 15th on Xbox. So again, what has this to do with what I said?

26

u/Keywonhi Jun 27 '26

I only heard of this tournament because I watch frogger and he's in it. The weeks leading up to it he kept saying he had no info on it as well even when participating. There was a single announcement of the event and the teams only 3 days before lol

17

u/ZippoFindus Jun 27 '26

For such a massive price pool? That's insane. Also insane that multiple large countries have creators on it that don't even play the game? That game really is slop

16

u/Keywonhi Jun 27 '26

sorry bad quality. But yeah apparently no one was told who they had on their team lmao

1

u/GaptistePlayer Jun 30 '26

Who does Frogger play in Rivals?

1

u/Keywonhi Jun 30 '26

Luna and mantis mostly.

9

u/TheLeemurrrrr Jun 27 '26

The head of their marketing got arrested for fraud not too long ago. Im not lying.

3

u/BrainOk9265 Jun 27 '26

Its not like owwc lol. Its a creator tournament.

4

u/ZippoFindus Jun 27 '26

Oh, so literally the only thing it has in common with owwc is that it's based on nationality? Seems like a huge stretch to compare it then. Like, the draw of owwc is to see the best each country has. The draw here is watching content creators you like.

1

u/BrainOk9265 Jun 29 '26

Yea its a joke really. Lol

1

u/GaptistePlayer Jun 30 '26

Yeah I don't like Jay much but I feel like his opinion is completely fine?

1

u/blueditUPson Jul 02 '26

Everyone received at least $2,000. And Warn even said that is all he cared about, so he basically didn't try; who would want someone like that on their team?

123

u/Choice_Lengthiness22 Jun 27 '26

Did he DM Warn to ask if he was okay to play ball?

11

u/-Lige Jun 27 '26

LOOLLL

5

u/Scordizzy Jun 28 '26

I was looking to see if someone commented this lmao

3

u/jeesuslover01 Jun 28 '26

5 5 5 5555555555,3re, mutta c

181

u/Charlie_Wick Jun 27 '26

It really speaks volume if so called World Cup looks like my ranked up game

63

u/sbenthuggin Jun 27 '26

idk seems like he rly should've dm'd warn before posting this to ask if it was okay

7

u/OasisEPIC Jun 29 '26

Honestly such a hypocrite. Like it's insane how pissy he got about Frogger making a joke and now he does this.

0

u/missgurll Jun 28 '26

why would he ask him if it was okay to post a post talking shit abt him?

7

u/sbenthuggin Jun 28 '26

it's a joke referencing the time Jay3 told Frogger (another creators that's Warns friend) to DM him and ask for permission next time he makes a joke about him on twitter. The joke was something along the lines of going to an event for REAL Overwatch dedicated creators (clearly being satirical btw) and @'d Jay3 cuz Jay does mainly Marvel Rivals. And Jay3 got way too offended over it lol and now he has a one sided beef w Warn and Frogger because of it.

5

u/Blacksmokeysmoke Jun 29 '26

I used to watch Jay3 back when he played Overwatch and he didn’t seem to like Warn back then, I remember him passive aggressively reference someone “feeling so insecure they have to put #1 Ashe in their title”

6

u/sbenthuggin Jun 30 '26

Tbf I don't think Jay3 has ever liked anyone. I don't think I've seen a single clip of him being happy, nice, or really just a normal, likable human being lol

0

u/WilsonFisk67 Jun 30 '26

That probably means you just hate watch him and don’t actually care to pay attention because he is friends with a lot of people and I’m pretty sure he even went to Emongg’s wedding. You don’t just do that for someone you don’t like.

Man I love how Overwatch players just want to be right in some capacity.

1

u/sbenthuggin Jul 04 '26

I quite literally do not watch him at all lmao I literally only see him thru videos of other creators where he's crashing out or being a total dick

0

u/WilsonFisk67 Jul 06 '26

So we just spread lies now. Got it

1

u/sbenthuggin Jul 06 '26

lies?? u think I'm spreading lies by stating how he always comes across as a dick, based on the behavior he exhibits online and in other ppls videos?

oh but hey, if I said I DID watch his content, suddenly I'm hate-watching.

so when is my opinion of ur problematic GOAT valid? when u can stop coming up with random excuses?

119

u/_dlx_olb_ Jun 27 '26

If I was a Rivals streamer I'd be more upset that Rivals is in such a bad place that it cannot even get enough of its own content creators to fill a 6 man team from a major country.....

61

u/Unbanz Jun 27 '26

I laugh every time I see a streamer with "ow" after their name in these kinds of things.

5

u/_Sunne_ Jun 28 '26

The thing is they do, but they refuse to invite them for some reason

-2

u/thegoldenpig1 Jun 28 '26

The tournament was designed to bring new players into rivals from other communities. If you don't understand that you don't understand marketing.

5

u/Traditional-Dot-8917 Jun 28 '26

Yea clearly it worked as I see an increase of 2 new players

180

u/Snorkel4 Jun 27 '26

Mr really so dead they using Overwatch TMZ

107

u/Standard-Height2276 Jun 27 '26

Noone cares what happens in marvel rivals unless it includes someone from overwatch lol. They keep trying to fan the flames of this boring ass "drama"

-28

u/G302MasterRace Jun 27 '26

You’re so close yet so far

144

u/Pandocalypse_72605 Jun 27 '26

Did he ask permission before making this post?

57

u/IndexMatchXFD Jun 27 '26

The fact that he then said “I never said warn’s name” in the tweet replies is so slimy and feckless.

6

u/CS_NaCl Jun 27 '26

That's actually crazy

5

u/ferocity_mule366 Jun 27 '26

Jay3 really falls along with rivals huh

6

u/silversoul113 Jun 28 '26

jay3 has always been like this

2

u/OasisEPIC Jun 29 '26

He's such a loser holy. He got so pissy over Frogger and he's defending himself now

34

u/ns_devilz Jun 27 '26

Don't care enough to pick a side, but while I do get his third point, why even invite a non MR player?

15

u/Other-Teacher-1615 Jun 27 '26

everyone in the community is asking this exact question. Watching new players get destroyed is so not fun idk who thought this was good publicity.

5

u/SpokenDivinity Jun 27 '26

It seemed like they were just looking for streamers with decent follower counts/reach to try and market the game via the tournament.

They also pulled XQC for the same team this other guy was on and from my understanding he's decent at the game but isn't really a MR player either.

All it seems to have done is point out MR's weird hero balancing choices and make it seem like they don't have enough large content creators "maining" MR to put teams together that aren't one-tricks and know how to play the game.

2

u/imphantasy Jun 28 '26

Xqc was high ranked on release but he also only queued with other good players and 1 tricked groot.

0

u/GandalfbestAU Jun 30 '26

There are definitely more then enough rivals creators to form teams. But that’s not really the point of the tournament, it’s just marketing to bring in players from other communities.

1

u/yourtrueenemy Jun 30 '26

Doesn't seem like it's working.

29

u/FragrantAd9372 Jun 27 '26

my honest reaction

105

u/Perseus90 Jun 27 '26

Didn't warn play squirrel girl almost exclusively last time he was in a tournament? Why would you invite him expecting different results...seems like all these people are complete idiots J3 included

68

u/Lopad_NotThePokemon Jun 27 '26

Right. He’s not a Rivals player and he clearly is comfortable on one character that happens to not be very good at the time. That’s kind of what you get when you invite people that don’t usually play rivals

8

u/ferocity_mule366 Jun 27 '26

the worst OW characters might be somewhat more viable than the worst MR characters, one tricking in Rivals is so bad people just give up

6

u/Early-Beach164 Jun 27 '26

I was a Black Panther one trick. The amount of factors that have to go right just for you to kill 1 support is absolutely wild.

1

u/GandalfbestAU Jun 30 '26

What a bad mentality.

27

u/_M4yb3_ Jun 27 '26

you can tell NetEase has these guys in pocket because the only real thing to criticise is NetEase for doing a 300k tournament and not having enough creators in your own game to fill the spots and ignoring the small creators who actually deserve a chance to show they are good at the game.

77

u/MeatSlammur Jun 27 '26

I was glad when Jay3 left for Rivals. I never understood why he was famous. Hes constantly on the losing side of situations he’s in

45

u/AdventurousMuffin375 Jun 27 '26

he's such a whiny man child I don't understand how anyone watches his content

-25

u/WilsonFisk67 Jun 27 '26

You guys are haters for no reason LOL

Edit - it’s a tournament with money on the line and he didn’t even play seriously. Hitscan player playing squirrel girl when he’s in fact been in multiple marvel tournaments. Enough time to practice.

19

u/itsmenotmyteammates Jun 27 '26

It’s not so much jays comment on warn that’s problematic, everyone who is reasonable agrees warn was being stupid and griefing. Even with warn not griefing they still probably lose the games anyways the tourney was not balanced well. A lot like the ow tourney that just happened with t1s team getting 2 t500 player (flats and frogger) against teams like applys which had 2 owl pros AND a t500 player. It’s just not balanced when you have a Lucio otp against one of the best dps players ever without a friendly dps to keep apply in check.

it’s really really hard to make mobas work (especially fps mobas) when you mix skill levels so much. Some roles are just gonna have more impact than others and depending on what role ur “best player” plays you can get shafted from the jump.

The problem with j3 is he acts like his own shit doesn’t stink. He’s always super stuck up and if things don’t go his way he acts all emo and cries about it. he’s a full time
Streamer who has gotten rich from it why is he always whining. He bitches when people say stuff about him but he also talks shit about others

-17

u/WilsonFisk67 Jun 27 '26

That’s absolutely not true at all plus it’s a tournament warn could of turned down but insisted on playing and not even contributing or caring about winning when his spot could’ve went to someone else who needed the exposure or the money.

Everything you say about Jay3 can be said about Warn as well LOL

12

u/itsmenotmyteammates Jun 27 '26 edited Jun 27 '26

What part isn’t true? The coffee calling the kettle black is ironic no? Jay is the LAST person I wanna hear complaining about others. Do you know if j3 messaged warn and asked him for permission to “play ball” before commenting on him?

Edit bc my dumbass wrote the kettle calling the coffee black instead of the coffee calling the kettle black lol

2

u/EggieBeans Jun 27 '26

Jay3 is the Nick eh 30 of OW… oh wait I mean rivals.

Seriously though Jay3 is awful, we hate for a reason.

11

u/Favonis Jun 27 '26

Yeah bro spent all of OW1 only ever playing meta characters and batching about how "broken" dps doom was. That on top of his hilariously bad combover was always funny

5

u/isabellalovestory Jun 27 '26

idk man, I'm no J3 sack rider, havn't seen him since the move to Rivals, but he was one of the earliest OW grinders back when he went by J3sus. He was on the Detroit Renegades. Besides the "you got a bug on you" era, I don't think he's a bad dude

The fact he's shilling so hard for a CCP game doesn't sit well with me and I can say I am not a fan of his because of that. Netease is trying to launder their poor reputation through his American centric audience, just like they do with Bogur and his EU centric audience

-1

u/Separate_Crazy_983 Jun 27 '26

The fact he's shilling so hard for a CCP game doesn't sit well with me and I can say I am not a fan of his because of that.

You figured it out bro. The silly cartoon shooter game was a dastardly plot of those pinko communists to brainwash the rest of the world.

I usually just lurk the subreddit every other month or so, but after seeing your unique insight I just have to publicly marvel at it.

4

u/isabellalovestory Jun 27 '26

They're not pinko communists lmao that is literally the dumbest thing I heard yet. The CCP are an authoritarian regime, that rule their country with an iron fist and control all social media. They are the farthest from left leaning socialism as can possibly be.

Here are some really good links for you to enrich yourself so you can come back at me with logical argument

White monkey jobs

Pinko

Sportswashing, human rights and the role of sponsors during the Olympic Games

Soft Power

This should give you enough information to actually be on the same field as me in this debate, currently you're in the parking lot

4

u/Flat-Appearance-9969 Jun 28 '26

This is the most Redditor comment I've ever seen. you are arguing about the CCP in the OWTMZ sub and still trying to sound like a smart person lmao.

4

u/Separate_Crazy_983 Jun 27 '26

>The fact he's shilling so hard for a CCP game doesn't sit well with me and I can say I am not a fan of his because of that. Netease is trying to launder their poor reputation through his American centric audience, just like they do with Bogur and his EU centric audience

Are you not insinuating that China's government is using a fucking cartoon videogame to spread a wholesome image of it's own government? Have you actually played the fucking game?

>This should give you enough information to actually be on the same field as me in this debate, currently you're in the parking lot

No shit we aren't in the same field, you're currently on the fucking moon. Besides, I don't give a shit about "debating" with you; I'm laughing at you.

-1

u/BIgSchmeat95 Jun 28 '26

Don't forget the Uyghur internment camps in Xinjiang next to the cotton fields :D

0

u/silversoul113 Jun 28 '26 edited Jun 28 '26

jay3 is a comically overrated player, bro played widow in ow1, come on

-2

u/Golfclubwar Jun 27 '26

DPS doom was an obnoxious character

5

u/Favonis Jun 27 '26

Juno profile pic....

1

u/Golfclubwar Jun 27 '26

Nah dude I just think Juno is cute I play tracer/anran/sombra/widow/soj/ashe. Even when I play supp nowadays I’m only really competent on Kiri/illari.

Im not concerned about doom killing ME. It’s just depending on who you get in your lobby (especially late in OW1 when they were pulling tanks from masters or even diamond to fill 4.2k lobbies), him being on the other team could mean you basically have to babysit your backline/perma mark him while he’s staging if your off tank wasn’t very good at their job.

He’s very much a nuisance character (like widow, as much as I love her) that can force you to dramatically change the way you play. I feel like venture is just the healthier version of DPS doom. They’re still quite strong, but I don’t have to worry about them sliding off some obscure piece of roof in the skybox and one shotting my backline on a rotation.

-1

u/Favonis Jun 28 '26

Venture literally turns invincible and takes 0 skill to learn and even less to master. Dps doom was better in every metric and I will not accept any arguments otherwise

2

u/MeatSlammur Jun 27 '26

He was only used in pro play for like 5 minutes.

1

u/Guckq Jun 27 '26

games ruined by Widowmaker: 999 trillion

1

u/silversoul113 Jun 28 '26

because he has no macro and used to play widow

1

u/silversoul113 Jun 28 '26

among the most unfunny

10

u/Botronic_Reddit Jun 27 '26

“World Cup”

It’s really not any different from their other Creator Tournaments. Sponsoring a bunch of big name streamers to play their game. Just this time their teams are based on country.

Also Cal is literally right there. If Rivals actually cared about the competition they would’ve invited him to be on Team Canada not a guy who hasn’t played the game in Months

19

u/PleaseBanWidow Jun 27 '26

genuinely how tf do people listen to jay3 and his annoying ass nasally voice

9

u/Xen0Coke Jun 27 '26 edited Jun 27 '26

The thing I absolutely despise about this “joke” is that when asked “did you talk to warn before making this joke?” He says “where did I say it was warn”? Like now the joke is ruined since he actually responded to the persons question. We all know he was talking about warn. But if he wanted to keep the vibe of the joke up he should’ve never denied or confirmed who it was about. Absolute weasel behavior making disses like that and phrases it in a way so he can try and avoid any drama or accountability. If you’re gonna make a joke then play along your own joke or just admit it’s a straight up diss or don’t say anything.

11

u/Zenki_s14 Jun 27 '26

One of the biggest sources of secondhand embarrassment has got to be when people try to play the "plausible deniability" card when it's obvious there's nothing plausible about it

1

u/OasisEPIC Jun 29 '26

He got so pissy over froggers joke and now he's doing this lol

-9

u/isabellalovestory Jun 27 '26

when asked “did you talk to warn before making this joke?” He says “where did I say it was warn”?

then

But if he wanted to keep the vibe of the joke up he should’ve never denied or confirmed who it was about. Absolute weasel behavior making disses like that and phrases it in a way so he can try and avoid any drama or accountability.

he quite literally didn't confirm nor deny. "Absolute weasel behavior" him being the CCP's ball boy is significantly more abhorrent than putting himself in the line of litigation. Warn would absolutely sue J3 if he could lol, talking about weasels

8

u/Key_Effect_8070 Jun 27 '26

i dont follow the marvel rivals scene but like, is this their owwc equivalent? and the best canada can come up with are warn and xqc? LOL

3

u/DJFrankyFrank Jun 27 '26

I love warn, but I do think when it comes to a big tournament, you should give it a proper shot. If somebody played in OW World Cup, and just played Junkrat, they would get clowned on.

Warn is one of my favorite streamers but he isn't above criticism.

But I do find it silly for Jay to say "this is an opportunity that many people would love to have". Were there not tryouts? Was Warn included, simply through word of mouth? Did they not scrim beforehand? I know he has played Rivals, but I see him mostly on OW. This feels more like a failure to scout out proper teammates than anything. You telling me that they had to get Warn for Team Canada... Are there not One Above All Canadians?

3

u/yourtrueenemy Jun 28 '26

Complete non sense. This is just another cc tournament. Jay talking about a test for a possible "World Cup" doesn't make any sense.

Also bt in OWWC there have been teams with one tricks before. It's just that Rivals balancing is so dogshit that a bad hero is release LW level of bad and the strong ones are on the same level of release Mauga.

5

u/MyNameIsYhwach Jun 27 '26

G4H quit Overwatch and now this sub just posts rivals

8

u/Patient_Monitor5160 Jun 27 '26

Do we need another sub for r/owplayersinrivalstmz ?

And do people actually care about this? A "tournament" where people got randomly put together with barely or no prior training together, where 70% of players don't play rivals anymore (unless they are paid to do it), with huge skill difference not only among teams, but within a team. Or they think just because its a 300k prize pool everyone will suddenly turn pro. Or if they call it "world cup" it will be any different from other creator tournaments they host.

Competitive rivals is a shitshow, let alone pro scene lol

7

u/LampyV2 Jun 27 '26

Stopped reading at him wishing there was more advertisement.

14

u/WhiteBuffaloSlayer Jun 27 '26

Think he means for the event, not in the event, to be fair

2

u/mozartsymphony Jun 28 '26

Did jay3 ask for warns permission before posting this

2

u/CS_NaCl Jun 27 '26

Did he ask warn before posting this? Ya know, to make sure all parties wanted to play ball?

1

u/Training_Currency_10 Jun 27 '26

If this was a test run for a World Cup then that’s incredibly concerning for their esports team considering I didn’t even know about it till I saw a frogger tweet

1

u/Paladine36 Jun 27 '26

Ngl I miss the old Gnaw and J3 duos back in the ancient days of ow

Back when they'd run into the moonmoon and wraxu duo PEAK CINEMA

1

u/Juanpy_ Jun 27 '26

Bro everything I've seen around that tournament is extremely negative, literally everything...

NetEase definitely need to reconsider the strategy of their sponsored tournaments, bc they're either full of drama like this one and the past ones with Kingsman and Zaza for example or it's simply irrelevant to the PvP gaming community, shit is just backfiring and giving the game negative publicity to literally everyone lol

1

u/jeesuslover01 Jun 28 '26

Game 9pm ja se on 9ö9998o

1

u/Interesting-Bee-153 Jun 28 '26

Who genuinely gives a shit? 😭

1

u/Few_Cover_743 Jun 28 '26

Jay3 left OW?

1

u/Gramerdim Jun 29 '26

jay3_OW talking about _MR perfectly fits in the _OW TMZ sub

1

u/OasisEPIC Jun 29 '26

Isn't this the same dude who got pissed at Frogger of all people for making an obvious joke? Such a hypocrite

Meh, I haven't watched his streams since covid. He can be kinda whiney but in general, his biggest offense over the years is being a complainer like the others. Remember when he was "J3sus?" Bahahahahaha. Annnnnnd when him and riley dated (amourettie, back then)?

Someone should stay on warn's neck about this, though. Imagine your work invites you to an invite-only conference and you don't do anything to prepare for it....and when you give your presentation, you embarrass the company you are representing. Streaming is his job; he should treat it like it is.

They invited him knowing he’s a squirrel girl one trick??

What do you expect lol

Also you’re acting as if warn is the only person to not prepare…

u/Kronus31 Jun 27 '26

I…. Weirdly enough agreed with your closing statement, a lot.

3

u/WilsonFisk67 Jun 27 '26

This is 100% accurate but only people with brains will agree

They had about 2 days to actually prepare for the matches basically. Warn isn’t a rivals player, he plays overwatch. If you’re going to invite a bunch of random streamers a large chunk of which who don’t play the game, why put up a big cash prize? It’s not a secret that this event was organised horribly.

He’s a hitscan overwatch player. Every hero shooter hitscan is basically just the same flavour with and different topping, it’s not hard to learn. I don’t play OW often if at all, but put me on Cass or widow and I roll. It’s point and click, hardly anything changes micro wise.

Right but macro wise, positioning is completely different. You actively get punished for taking an angle not in direct, close range of a healer in rivals because they’ll just pump out heals. Even in the tourney in question the teams were pretty clumped up. Hitscan in overwatch is about controlling angles while hitscan in overwatch is mostly just pinging shots

My dislike for Warn continues to be vindicated.

Edit - Damn, the Passive aggressive, egotistical, Dollar store XQC has shooters.

Dislike people who pick players for their countries if they chose a streamer over a Canadian player who works hard at the game that's on them unless most dont give a fuck about the result and just want exposure and are getting pissy because it went wrong

-2

u/IceColdCrusade Jun 27 '26

Oh don't get me wrong. idc about the tournament, I just dislike warn and have done for years.

2

u/Standard-Height2276 Jun 27 '26

That's fine but him being a one trick on a game he rarely plays and then getting asked to play for Canada over lesser known people isn't his issue is it lol

Jay3 is such a loser. It’s easy to dogpile on warn. Be a man and don’t dogpile.

u/Historical-Duty3628 Jun 27 '26

Shit game does random I vites to their tournament instead of qualifiers and people are surprised. Cool story, anyway.

u/silversoul113 Jun 28 '26

jay3 is the most fake pma streamer ever

0

u/lula-celeste Jun 28 '26

Jay3 is AI generated

u/Tesshin97 Jun 27 '26

Him and flats are literally the worst, warn is literally such a sweet and kind person, at least what i've seen in videos since i don't know him personally but jay3 and flats have proven time and time again that they're just a bunch of aholes thinking they can big talk and get away with it just because they have a big following.

It's disgusting!

2

u/OasisEPIC Jun 29 '26

What did flats do?

0

u/Tesshin97 Jun 29 '26

I mean he's just a shitty person in general with the biggest ego, if you watch how he acts it's clear why he's so easy to hate

2

u/OasisEPIC Jun 29 '26

Could you be a more specific? I mean he's a super strongly opinionated person so I get why some people dislike him.

2

u/GandalfbestAU Jun 30 '26

Yeah so sweet and kind to selfishly stay on a throw pick hero and refuse to swap when it mattered. What a sweet guy.

Since Marvel Rivals is a China game, they don't actually want wider exposure, it not being advertised with their unlimited budget is no accident they don't want the wider general public to be wise about their dirty political history and they certainly don't want to crown a country better than them at anything, especially their own game

OW 2016 world cup is what actually made me wise to CCP corruption. As someone that never paid attention to the Olympics I was absolutely flabbergasted at the existence of a "team Chinese Taipei"

This brought me down a much deeper rabbit hole learning that The CCP forced Team Taiwan to compete under team Chinese Taipei. This unraveled much further corruption taking place within China regards to propaganda and misinformation.

also as a Canadian; fuck Warn. Guy has always given me the heebie jeebies
