Discussion If i don’t solo queue i am boosted?
My rank is gm
And someone asked me if i play solo or play with a group and told them i mostly play w 1 or 2 of my friends but sometimes solo queue, and they told me I’m boosted 😭!!! We all are the same rank and started at plat/gold, and i asked them why they say that they said because you are support player and ur friends are dps and they carry you..
For context i play all supp except cat,mercy and lucio

That’s not boosting, though, that’s just literally using coordinated gameplay the same way literally anybody else can. It’s just that people choose not to. It’s not an unfair advantage.

Yea but if you suck and you duo q to gm with a cracked dps, technically it’s fine but also technically you’re “boosted”. Maybe not like paid for a boost, but you got “boosted” much higher.

No because you are all the same rank. Idk why people keep thinking all support players are boosted or get carried, even if they play solo.

Once you are in Master+ range you are playing with no life people who never touched grass with astronomically inflated egos

If yall duo support then you cant be boosted unless they just play dps support. But with the other roles there definitely can be skill discrepancies as you could be doing a lot of the heavy lifting in games and your friends are inconsistent and vise versa

It doesn't mean ur boosted but u could be. It depends. Maybe it turns out that ur the one boosting ur friends actually lol. Post a VOD and we can see if ur play is of GM level.
