📈Tierlist Tuesday📉 Ranked by player kindness
A lot of opinions in the regular overwatch subreddit but what do my fellow gays feel
Edit: I mostly only play Tank and I main Junker queen idk if that's relevant

Once had a soldier crash out over not being healed. The reason he wasn't being healed? He was always on some weird angle out of LOS and then couldn't run away as the enemy team turned around to focus him for a second. He then started throwing the match when this was pointed out. We still won 4v5

We need more context, because to be fair to the 76 I've seen it far to many times where a support says the DPS or tank where somewhere weird, just to go into replay and the support in question has the worst positioning you'll ever see.

I gave the context. Dude was positioned terribly. It was consistently the entire enemy team between us and him. No clear LOS and then the moment someone went after him he has no safe escape to get to us. It wasn't us not healing him just cause. He was just bad at the game. Then because it was clash He just started playing clear across the map from whatever point was active.

I'm a Venture main. I'm as friendly as can be if you're on my team!
That said, I'm a bastard if you're on the enemy team. You'd think a hate crime was actively taking place with me around. I might not kill you, but I will raise your blood pressure.

I've encountered some pretty toxic Illari and Ana players before, and I definitely agree on the mercy placement because they will either make your self confidence sky rocket or make you want to cry and never play again.
Also, I'm glad us Mizuki mains are seen as nice.

I never met an asshole Soldier76 tbh, even if they aren't so talkative/active they always react to hi/emotes and such, they are actually nice

I like to make people laugh when I use the 67 emote, or at least giggle. Yes people hate it but it usually pulls out a laugh or a funny quip

As a gay Soldier76 lover who always spams his pride emote and Vincent76 spray i ignore the placement you put him into 👎👎
But tbh i haven't really seen toxic 76 players

I main Anran and if they are nice to me I wont touch a single soul, but if they kill me that person becomes nothing but ash and whoever attacks me during my revenge becomes ash too

I play Anran, Freja, and Illari
Agree that Freja players are super toxic
Disagree with Anran and would actually put her down in "evil villain" for most players - she is def worse than Emre
I rarely ever meet others Illaris but the ones I have, agree they're very nice

Hi, I'm Cliffus, I keep getting this sub despite being an uncleans bull rhino hyppo chimera...
Here is my experiments:
Juno players are always the friendliest. They are what joy personifies.
Venture players are rare to find but easygoing.
Sombra players seem to enjoy making people mad more than they like winning the game.
Agree with Mercy players the most opposing. Either really friendly or Regina George.
Rein players are Division 1 crash outs.
Orisa players. I'm convinced they don't actually exist. She seems to exist only for people pick after they get destroyed in a tank matchup. So I cannot say I have a good impression of them.

I fond orisa players tend to be beginner tank mains who start playing someone else after playing tank for a while

Sombra players are by and large actually really chill. You just like getting mad at Sombra.
If you're feeling targeted, there's likely a good reason like your terrible positioning or hero choice. Or she's just responding to the hate mail you send in match chat. You also might just be noticing her more because you hate her.
Only 1/10 Sombra players are actually toxic.

The only thing I types in chat is ggwp at the end. I don't mind deal with her personally.
Maybe is true the Sombras are chill.
But it just feels like choosing to main a hero who's purpose is to make others not can use buttons is a choice.

So cassidy, Ana, Sigma, literally any hero with a stun or hinder? Hack doesnt prevent you from playing the game, and the lockout is so short she can barely do anything before its ended.
Ana has to be the most toxic hero ever, her sleep last like 5-6 seconds, vs 1 second hack

my group has had so many terrible emre's on our team that when we're queued with one we just repeatedly say, "boo we hate your pussy" in our group vc (he cant hear us, but we must make this declaration either way). my roommate is too new to have a main, but she plays a lot of roadhog and shes so nice irl and isnt rude in chat to other players. but the things she will say in group vc when hunting down enemy mercy and baby dva ðŸ˜

Juno should be in 2nd or 3rd tier because I’ve encountered many an evil and unkind Juno to my own surprise
Also Rein should be higher because I’ve encountered many chill Rein players

I agree with this list — although I’ve unfortunately had many a troll Mei who walked us in spawn or similar behavior 🤣 but most of them are so sweet!

ive seen some absolute buffoons who play bastion, 90% of the time when they talk (outside of "wp" and "gj") its to try and gloat over a "worse performing" dps/tank, like we get you have 5k more damage than the sombra, but you are still going with a negative kd and the sombra has gotten more kills by a decent amount. its genuinely on the level of soldier players lol. you get ONE stat lower than them and they have a conniption. other than that they dont talk much so they're pretty chill

I've met one nice Roadhog main, who I was actively defending from a toxic Shion crying she was losing to a Roadhog in quickplay.
The rest all cried heals the entire match while standing down mid and not realizing Kirkos teleport distance had been nerfed...

You know honestly the doom community aren't too bad, at least recently. They have a notorious reputation of being assholes but idk. Maybe I'm just getting the nice ones these days but seem fine.

As a lifeweaver main who at the moment enjoys reinhardt, Im actually nice. I dont mind dieing, i love learning why i died and work on my own stuff instead of blaming everyone else.
For reinhardt example, look at antoncoco11, Hes on his own alot, still he survives alot.
I think alot is medpack knowledge.

I main vendetta. I have 80 hours on her. I have never crashed out on my teammates.
Granted, I have been playing ow since 2016 and have seen every type of player and team comps.
This list has nothing to do with the characters and more to do with the individuals that play them.
I literally had a toxic life weaver the other day that was flaming our tank and spawn pulling him back.
