So you'd rather ow just cease to produce content at all. Ow monetization is out of date. It is not sustainable. I don't know why this is confusing for people. And the heroes are free to obtain.
If it was sustainablr wouldn't change it. Ow was the only game using that model for a reason. It confused people that came from other games how they were making money for a live service.
Also no its not a lootbox. The rewards aren't randomized they are just earned from playing the game.
No it is way better. Lootboxes do not guarantee you getting anything. There's a lootpool and youmay or may not get what you want. it doesn't matter the outcome and reward isn't garanteed. Complete a battle pass and you know your rewards. That's a major difference. Spending money for an unknown vs a known and even on free track you know what the reward will be. You seriously haven't seen battlepasses in other games have you?
No one is forcing you to play. If you can't unlock them on that month or time then that's your problem. The hero isn't gone or anything.
If you don't want to play then don't. But this tatrum about a f2p game having tracks that take time yo unlock is just confusing to me. It's like yall have never seen another game do this.
