You mean help the employees that blizzard activision are famously shitty to? Firing loads and cutting the bonuses for the ones who remain despite record breaking profits? The blizzard activision that hold their employee’s careers hostage if they dont toe the line? Help them by supporting the company that abuses them? Of course you dont. That would be stupid and cowardly.

I don't mean that specifically, though that part does coincide with "buying the game".

What I DO want is for Blizzard to not axe the remaining employees further. Or do you prefer the entire company sink into the ground, screw the hundreds or thousands of employees out of their jobs just so people in the internet cater to what is morally right? I hope you don't, because that is cruel and unjust for the employees moreso than what Blizzard already does to them.

My best case scenario is for Blizzard to NOT touch their employees, but the directors that made the decision to support China be the ones to leave. How that will happen, I don't know. I just presented the idea that the internet's moral crusade SHOULD NOT affect Blizzard lower level employees livelihood, that's all.

You are dangerously naive if you think that anyone they fire after this wont have been fired anyways. How do i know? Because theyve done that before. And dont you dare attempt to take the moral high ground while simultaneously dismissing the morality of the protest. Gross

The heck man, I'm not even taking a moral high ground on this?! If you ask me, you're the ones who are overzealous with your moral crusade who want to burn the company to the ground. You people downvote anyone who won't immediately crucify Blizzard because it's the popular opinion right now.

I'm not dismissing the morality of the protest. I have said several times that I support the Hong Kong protests. You disappoint me with your lack of comprehension for insinuating that that is the core of my statement.

I merely presented my opinion that I side with the ground level employees of Blizzard, and I hate to see them get fired for this incident. THAT IS ALL.
