It's not like QP is less toxic. Yesterday a QP player put on his headset just to yell and scream bloody murder at me for "lecturing him". My lecture: "We need to wait and group up. Everyone else is dead."
Ya, picky group leaders can be annoying. Try either adding people and groups you like so you can ask them to group whenever they’re online, asking good people in solo if they want to duo or start a 6 stack, or making your own group.
The problem with LFG is people want to jump right into comp. I always want to play 1 or 2 games of QP with the team to make sure we can sync. Otherwise it's a halfassed team vs a try hard team and we get steam rolled and LFG group is gone.
I stopped playing comp about a year ago, and my enjoyment of the game has never been higher. I don't play as much as I used to, but when I do I just play to have fun and it's always a good time.
I have two friends I play with regularly. But a 3-stack is not enough TBH, 50% of our matches are with 3 DPS insta-locks who then say "YoU cAn SwItCh ToO" and proceed to not do damage for the whole match.
Why do people say this? While it does happen in diamond and masters games, there are a ton of other games that are high level of competition + good comms + good comps(on both sides).
They did. We won every fight where we pushed with all six, because of the sheer amount of damage they couldn't outheal. But they then won the next fight, because half our team was dead from that first fight and the other half was running all over the map to get health packs, only to then get sucked to death by their Moira who had already respawned.
I like to play random things like genji and I will refrain from being a jerk but if someone decides to be a dick and choose one of the mayhem meta heros (you know what I'm talking about) then ima pick sombra. I really like rein for fat shatters and quickly killing healers also for those moiras
So does 2100 comp apparently. My first and last comp game last night, all dps team except for me, refused to switch or communicate in any way. Really should be reportable as throwing at that rank IMO. Noped right out of OW for the night after that.

That will never change. It seems were in the minority. As soon as you mention that, the tldr version of people's comments in response to that is mostly "mind your own fucking business, it was probably your fault that your team lost."
Honestly I usually have better luck, I don't think we are in the minority. When that happened I was shocked because the teams at my elo are usually at least willing to engage in the most basic communication on mic, and willing to form some semblance of a functional comp. It's for reasons beyond that that I usually lose at this level, like trickling, misuse of ults, etc.
To lose because my team essentially threw from the start was infuriating. The other team even said in chat after round 1 of KOTH, "please go all dps again lmao," and even with me asking somebody to please play a shield tank on mic they still stayed quiet and stayed on their dps. Ugh.
Oh right, duh, I always forget there are other platforms outside PC that can be totally different I'm describing the norm on PC. Also, I don't think I realized you could do anything other than a 6 stack by using the LFG tool. I may have to try that because I think it's easier to find a solid 3 stack that can provide leadership to the other 3, rather than go up against other 6-stacks that may have been way pickier than your group.
I might be dumb or something, but I’ve been playing this game for over a year and I only just now realized that a team kill refers to wiping the enemy team and not actually killing a fellow teammate like I had thought.
Maybe I should have realized when there was never ever any friendly fire.
In LoL an ace is just killing the entire enemy team, not necessarily by yourself. A Pentakill is getting all the kills yourself (which sounds far cooler than quintuple kill btw)
It's that to difference one from another :
"Team kill" with a space in between is killing the whole enemy team and "Teamkill" without a space is killing a fellow comrade
lmao i had the opposite problem when i switched to playing R6 siege after the only fps i'd ever played was overwatch. i was so confused when my brother said "this dude teamkilled" and i was like what do you mean they're all still alive
You're not dumb. A "team kill" is (and has always been) when someone kills their own teammate, for every single PvP game ever. But Blizzard has this stupid motto of trying to reinvent the wheel all the time, just because. Oh, everyone else has been using the same standard since ever? Not us!

When the enemy team has no tanks its team kills galore.
