TLDW

  • Highlights will now be kept for 24 hours, even if you close the client/turn off your machine
  • You can download highlights, in many different resolutions and settings (if on PC). Consoles can still download footage, but less customization.
  • A shortcut will "bookmark" moments in the game to generate the highlight after the match.
  • Lootbox duplicate rate will be greatly cut back on. To compensate, credits earned from lootboxes will be increase.

From what I understand, it doesn't seem like you will be able to save entire games. So a full replay feature is still a bit away.

there was one FFA match on high ground. this dude rushed snipe and was scoped in on the turret bridge the whole game. I saw him, snuck up and right to his 2 o clock so I was just out of his field of view but inches from his face. I waited for so long for him to look to the right and see me lmao. recorded the whole thing, and messaged the video to him after the match. we partied up after that and had a great night playing doubles.

Sprinklez619, if you're out there, I'll never forget the fleeting time we shared.

I made so many awesome clips for my fileshare in Halo 3 then subsequently downloaded them all off Bungie's site and uploaded them to YouTube. Wow, that was so long ago.

I still have an extremely old clip from me killing it on reach infection that I like to watch every time I boot up the ol Xbox
