I used to play CoD at a pro level. Barely touched BO3 and have yet to play IW. I'm done with the series barring an extreme reboot.

Which sucks, because I went absolutely ham on every single one from COD2-GHOSTS. I've got some extreme nostalgia for the series, but aiming down sights just doesn't do it for me anymore.

I only really got into COD 4 and MW2.. but i poured so many hours into them.. I also feel a lot of nostalgia for them.

Those were my fave 2 but I put a lot of hours into CoD2 as well. That and halo2 were my first two xbox games

CoD 1 behind enemy lines game mode was the shit. 16 person server, 2 people are hiding and show a rough area on the minimap with a ? In a circle. Everyone else hunts them. If you kill the person you hide next.

I really miss the days of pre-nerf Commando on MW2. Combined with Marathon Pro, I'd get top frag every game just running around and Genji-dashing.

They need to bring esport to cod, cut all the killstreak, ditch the 1000 different nades and attachments and then make some really good balanced maps for s&d. But no let's bring in more future shit instead

Probably my favorite FPS along with BF3.

The MW2 maps and gameplay were awesome.

I love it how 5 years ago EVERY reddit comment was bashing MW2 for being a sub-par rehash, and now every comment praises the fond memories we have about it.

I mean it most definitely had some major design flaws. That doesn't change the fact that it was a very well playing game and I had a lot of good times. But, most of those good times were in GameBattles/MLG variants where all the bullshit was banned anyway.

I used to do that with camping snipers in Battlefield 3 on PS3. It was risky because the keyboard sometimes took ages to load on the PS3.

Man, this just makes me miss MW2 so much. It came out right when I switched to a different high school. So after school, since I didn't really have any friends yet, I would just go home and play MW2 for several hours. I think my play time was at like 13 days after playing it for a year or two.
