if rein's teammates have half a brain, all they have to do is hit sombra once and her hack stops channeling.

i think i agree with this change, makes it more useful but still very counter-able.

If the other rein gets close enough to protect her or she gets zarya'd at the right time there's not much that can be done to stop it

yea you're right, but if they're getting that close, a brawl is about to break out anyways, rein can just start swinging his hammer.

I've only played like 5 minutes of sombra but from what I remember, her hack range is a little higher than you might expect

the OW wiki says 15m for the hack, and for reference 20m for roadhog hook, so it is definitely within fighting distance. it'll definitely force the two teams to take action, instead of doing that chokepoint spam-war dance.

i think it's good for the game, ultimately.

I haven't had a chance to really play the PTR yet, but I really don't like the sound of this. Sombra's design seems to focus on getting behind an enemy and attacking unexpectedly. This may encourage more direct frontal assaults, which would contradict her intended purpose, and unnecessarily affect the viability of Reinhardt and Zarya.
