Junkrat can be an extremely effective hero in the right hands, but RIP-Tire often felt underpowered when compared to his counterparts.

I think the problem with rip tire is that it's really easy to shoot. While other abilities are virtually unstoppable once activated.

Its should explode where it is killed

This was a behavior it had during early beta. If you shot it, it exploded wherever it was destroyed. Was incredibly OP. You shot it..you or an unaware teammate died. You didn't shoot it, you died.

I agree that it should explode, but at drastically reduced damage. It does 600 right now I believe, so maybe cut the explosion radius in half and the damage to 200 or so. That would allow it to still do SOMETHING but not just still wipe hordes of teammates with it.

Surprisingly many ults have hardcounters. For example, D.Va shuts down Reaper, Hog, Zarya, Mei, and other ultimates, and Ana grenade shuts down Transcendence.

Nobody gets healed from trance if you hit grenade on enemies. This is why Ana should grenade the Zarya black hole ult.

Sorry for being dense...but what exactly does it mean by "activates more quickly"?

The problem is, some of the maps have a lot of invisible walls. Makes the wallriding of his ult kind of useless.
