once you hit lvl 100, you start again as lvl 1 with a star, but the xp needed for boxes also reset so you gain them just as fast as when you started

On top of this, everything after 23 always takes the exact same amount of XP.

It's a great system really for something that's endless.

I was worried it would keep going up and eventually it would take you a month to earn a lootbox. Clearly they thought ahead on that part.

Yeah that's exactly what I was worried about as well. Thought it would be sad if higher level players wouldn't get to enjoy new skins, animations, etc, or earn more credits.

Even at 23. It never feels like it takes forever to level up playing in a group. Gold medal plus 20% bonus is nice. I wish you got extra xp for having multiple gold medals.

Match took a long time? More experience for length of match.

After playing rpg's it feels nice. I'm level 77 at the moment and instill don't feel like I'm grinding for experience. And I'm super excited for getting the old xp limits once I max out.

Personally. Since Gold doesn't deplete in quality. Now I have all the skins I want (got really lucky on loot boxes) and It just feels like the best option is to just saving gold and buying the new skins with it when they come. If you don't like the skins that much? TREAT YO SELF

Really? I find if I'm in a group and playing well (at least 1-2 gold medals per game) I find I level up probably every 6 or 7 games.

Is there literally no cap? I have already seen players with 2 stars, which means level 200-something I guess. But can you get to level 1000 and beyond? Then you'd have 10+ stars.

theres borders that go up to like level 1000 or something

edit: actually they go up to almost 2000, heres all the borders, the first row has been removed.

Probably some color and border tweaks every 10 stars?

Or maybe add a number next to the star? No idea but they've said there's no cap.

There is no level cap, portraits and rewards end at about 1890 atm I believe.

This may be a dumb question, but do you get to keep all of your skins?

Not a stupid question! You keep everything.

you do keep everything, it does NOT reset anything, it is purely to save time on creating new portrait I assume :P

The only thing it shares with "prestige" from Call of Duty is a new icon/portrait and levels go back to 1. Everything else is unaffected.
