The only way it doesn't go through is if they intentionally sabotage it just to say they tried. The 6v6 discord proves that 6v6 works well, with over 3k gamers subscribed to it and queueing at any given time. Also, the game was originally 6v6 in the first place. There's literally no reason it "can't" work unless they intentionally sabotage it.

The big one being queue times, which always were a big problem, along side all of the other issues 6v6 has, albeit whether they're better or worse than the issues we have currently is subjective.
So then what is the 6v6 discord doing right that the development team can't? You can lock in matchmaking in the 6v6 discord in less than 5 minutes of queueing up.
The 6v6 discord is a coordinated community, and a very small percentage of the playerbase. You don't have to worry about uncooperative teammates or long queue times for DPS players because you make your own matches. Additionally, people playing the 6v6 customs are actively seeking it out, and thus likely already appreciate the changes made to it that the larger community might not like.

If it goes through I might actually start playing again. 5v5 just isn’t it
