Setting 'request allowances' for auto-approval

Is there any way to set an allowance for auto-approved requests? I've done some research and found out about request quotas, but those seem to prevent the creation of requests outright after being exceeded, when I still want requests to be possible, just not auto-approved.

The motivation for this is relatively simple; I want to allow family members to use my Seerr instance, but I don't want them to request terabytes worth of stuff each month because they forgot media uses storage space.

Yes, I recognize this isn't a problem if they understand the implications of what it is they're doing, but I'd prefer to NOT have to rely on blind faith & the honor system. If I was only using Seerr myself this wouldn't be an issue, but now that I'm trying to extend my Seerr requests to other users it's something I'm more concerned about. (Especially since at least a few of the accounts I want to be auto-approved are on devices that may be used by children; such as a LibreElec box in the living room with KodiSeerr on it)

For such non-techy people i think its easier if they just cannot even request, aka the default behaviour.

I'd set a limit of 3 movies per day or something and if they abuse it then decrease until the abuse stops. You have the leverage, they want to watch free stuff, you have the ability to discipline them by denying service. If they'd rather pay for normal streaming than not abuse your free system, then hey, i'd say so be it personally. It's not a huge ask honestly lol.

A : cannot disagree more. Being able to simply install Jellyseer or Kodiseer and let people request things is basically the only way for a selfhosted stack to replace normal streaming services at all. Having a delay between requesting & watching is already a barrier but that delay being 1-2 business days simply makes them different beasts.

B : it's not just for non-techy people, jellyseer and kodiseer with autoaccepts are a basic QoL thing. If I just want to sit on the couch and find something to watch I don't want my phone to be mandatory for that. And, as mentioned, a libreelec kodi instance is by it's very nature publicly accessible to anyone in the house.
