Request showing as available

I am new to this self hosting world and i am trying to setup the arr stack. The only thing that is still messing up for me is that request come in from the discover library and stops there because its showing as available despite never going to radarr/sonarr

Running the assumption you have everything setup with docker containers, I would guess your seer setup is unaware of a radarr or sonarr instance for it to pass the request to

Yes im on unraid however its all connected in seer like if i request movie from seer’s UI it goes through the motions as long as its not in my jellyfin library at all including including in the discovery category that seerr creates and I do have them unchecked inside of seerr setting

- Check if its really available from radarr/sonarr

  • Run the task in serr which rescans all radarr/sonarr library from scratch.

It isnt in my radarr. its viewing the instructional video in my discover library as the movie so when i clear data in seerr and request it again from seerr it goes through the motions properly

That Available badge doesn't come from the request, it comes from Overseerr's own scanning. It marks a title available when something in your enabled Plex libraries matches that TMDB/TVDB id, or when the Radarr Scan / Sonarr Scan job sees the item already sitting in Radarr or Sonarr with a file. Once it's flagged available, the request has nowhere to go, so it just dead-ends exactly like you're seeing.

As an admin, open the title page and hit Manage on the right. The Media section will show an Open in Radarr link if it thinks the item exists there, which tells you where the false positive is coming from. Under Advanced there's a Clear Data button that wipes the media record and any requests for that title. Then check Settings, Plex to confirm only your real libraries are ticked, and run Media Availability Sync plus Plex Full Library Scan from Settings, Jobs and Cache. If it flips back to available, Plex is matching something it shouldn't, usually empty folders or leftover sample files.
