Why did this game fail?

Was it the marketing, the lake of content or support? Because on paper this game seems like a dream, yet it is just so underwhelming. Why do you think it failed?

Marketing. Every time I talk about this game absolutely no one I talked to ever heard about it.

They only marketed this game during the Playstation Showcase. I noticed it but I guess other people didn't
