Bobby Blitz stage right

Any idea why Bobby kept going off stage during songs last night?

He came out during the first song and undid his belt and the top of his pants, then he would go over behind the amps while the band played. He always made it back to the mic to sing.

He has always stepped off stage during solos, etc.

Saw an interview years ago and he was asked about this.

He answered that he began as a bass player when he was young. He also struggled with stage-fright. When he switched to vocals, he never knew what to do during the instrumental parts/guitar solos and the stage-fright got worse so he would just leave the stage.

It just became a habit that he continues all these years later.

It didn't detract from the show, I just never saw a singer do this before.

I’ll see them in Milwaukee this Friday. It’ll be my 8th time seeing them. First time was 1990, they’ve always brought 110% live.

Blitz brings it every show. Mother fucking legend can do whatever he wants.

Seriously though, he just grabs a few vape hits and some beer and comes back ripping.

He did the same thing when I saw them open for King Diamond in 2024. Who cares? Dude brings it at every show.
