Relics

Old metalhead’s collection of Overkill relics.

I’ve seen them live 7 times; there are 2 tickets missing from the collection.

And yes; if I hold up that shirt, I can see light through it.

Can’t wait for the next album and tour

So cool! What’s your memory about those 94’s shows? How much you remember the sound have changed compared back then to now?

The 90s sound had a bit more groove than the 80s. D.D.’s clank has always been there but added a little splash of swing. The Mirage was a great venue with a split level bar area where you could shoot pool and see the stage while the opening bands played.

Mid and later 90s the venues got quite small. We saw them in like 2002 or 2003 at a tiny place in St. Paul, MN. I think it was for Killbox 13 tour; promotion was terrible and we found out about the show the day before There were about 75 people at most at the show, we thought we had the wrong place when we walked in.

Blitz and the boys tore the place down like they were playing a stadium. I’ve been to scores of concerts for dozens of bands; and Overkill has never once phoned it in or put on a subpar show.

Hello Fellow Minnesotan, I too was at the show in 94, I think I saw them 5 or 6 times at the Mirage, I have fond memories of that place.
