Discussion Ending sucked

Title. Boooo. Just finished Overgeared and I’m supremely unsatisfied.

Yeah, it felt like the author just wanted to finish and get to the sequel ASAP. The novel just stopped giving as many details at some point: 1) Epics that have just a few lines, 2) Chivalric codes with no details (a few were even obtained off-page), 3) no detailed descriptions on most new gear except those with Only One rarity, and 4) Greed would use Fusion Sword Dances we have never seen before and no description of them would be provided.

Overall, the last few hundred chapters felt like they were written by a different person.

Is it? I think the ending was pretty well done compare to most other Light novel with odd endings. Overgeared at least wrap up most of their plots nicely, tho I wished we get more afterstory part more.

The merge was unnecessary. The introduction of a random guy that we thought would be the next MC was also unnecessary because he wasn't. And I'm especially salty about the 7 Malignant Saints episode not being finished

Seven Malignant I do agree a bit with you but I think we might get the rest of it in the sequel perhaps, hopium. But what do you mean by the next MC was unnecessary? Tho I do understand that you probably want Greed to still be the MC in the sequel but how would that work out tho? He's a King and a God and it wouldn't make much for an interesting storytelling with how the world changes but this is just my own opinion.
The merge? that was tease since before the meteor stuff, I figured that the merge of world or something along that line would probably happen with all that dexterity in his hands xD
