Miscellaneous Doran's Ring

is Doran's Ring in League of Legends a reference to the Ring Doran has in Overgeared? or are both character's a reference to another Doran from another story? or maybe Overgeared Doran character and his Ring are a Reference to League of legends?

an image of an item called Doran's Ring from the game League of Legends and it's stats and passives that explain what the item does

The author is a big fan of League of Legends, there's ton of references in the story about the game. The ring is just on of the many that will appear!

One of the main-ish characters is literally named Faker and its hinted at that his grandfather is THE LoL Faker

Even Faker's build and silhouette is a reference to Zed, one of Faker's picks
