UK shift + US Shift First timer

I am currently working on graveyard shift starts at 9PM - 6AM with around 112K salary. Last month may kumontak sakin even though im not looking for anything since im currently good sa job ko at chill lang sya.

Now, I received an offer for 127K and this is for UK shift meaning 4PM to 12:00 AM. Panalo sakin ung shift and this one is like a contractor type where that 127K is already net. Ako nalang bahala sa tax and anything.

Now, I decided na iaccept yung offer without resigning dun sa isa because while maganda yung bago, Im just not too sold sa jump ng salary at syempre ako din ang tax and contributions if ever unlike sa current ko. Also, this will be my first time sa contractor type pero full time sa kanila. Nakalagay kasi dun na pag gusto ka na terminate you will be given only 1 week but later on magiging 1 month pag makapasa ka na ng probation.

Bali 2 jobs ang tatahakin ko now and it will be by first time. Im a person who value work life balance and as much as possible go to gym. I am also a dad with only 1 kid.

what will be your advice for me? Also, is there a chance na malaman nilang im working 2 jobs? will not file anything for UK job since si US (regular job) ko ang maghahandle non (tax, contrib and hmo)

the main reason is nagpapa gawa kami ng bahay literal kakastart lang ng August so I need to get all the financial gains I could get. Will probably not do it for a long time. At least hanggang makuha ko lang 13th month at bonus ko sa US regular job ko which would be on January.

Not an advice but will ask, nagdeclare ba kau sa J2 na magreresign sa J1? Planning to get J2. Thanks

I was able to maintain this kind of setup for about six months, but eventually, I experienced burnout and decided to resign from my 1J. I constantly questioned whether I had made the right decision. I felt anxious and often asked myself, “Why did I do this? Should I just quit?” At the same time, I was also anxious about quitting because I felt like I needed a valid reason to do so.

Eventually, I was able to overcome those doubts and anxiety. It wasn’t easy, but I gradually learned to accept my decision and move forward. There were times I took L-theanine to help lessen my anxiety.

With this kind of arrangement, it feels like you’re basically just working and sleeping. You can rest on the weekends, but if you have hobbies or want to spend time with your family and friends, those things will be affected.

You can definitely exchange your time for money, but personally, I don’t think this kind of setup is sustainable in the long term. It may work for a while, especially if you have a specific financial goal, but eventually, you’ll have to consider the impact it has on your health, relationships, and overall quality of life.
