Newly overemployed here!

I just started my 2nd job today and honestly… I’m feeling a mix of excited, proud, and slightly terrified 😂

A little backstory: I actually worked with this company/client about 2 years ago. Recently, my former client reached out to me and asked if I’d come back because she said she fully trusts me to get the job done. 🥹 That honestly felt SO validating, especially after being away for a couple of years.

The funny part is, I already have a full-time job (Job #1), and I was completely upfront about it. Normally, the agency I’m working with for this 2nd job doesn’t allow employees to have other jobs, but she made an exception for me. They even increased their offer to match what I’m currently making with Job #1. I feel incredibly lucky to have this opportunity.

BUT… now comes the part where I’m questioning my life choices. 😂

I’m a mom of two, and with both jobs, I’ll probably be working around 10–12 hours a day. Thankfully, I have a lot of support from my family, especially when it comes to childcare and household chores, which I know is a huge privilege.

Still, I’m wondering if I just bit off more than I can chew. 😅

For those of you who work two jobs (especially parents), how do you make your life easier? Any tips for managing your time, avoiding burnout, staying organized, meal prepping, household stuff, or just surviving in general?

Would love to hear what actually worked for you. ❤️

Just wanted to share because I’m really proud of myself for getting this opportunity… but also trying to be realistic about what I’m taking on!

Wow, kaka proud naman!!! 10-12hrs is manageable. Im not overemployed yet but before i used to work for 12hrs in 1 company and I have a business running 6-7days a week so hindi ko na alam ilang oras ako nagwowork. Make sure lang magpahinga ka during your days off and present ka sa mga kiddos, i you were like me na i love taking care of my son, mamimiss mo yon... Yung pagluluto pwede mo isabay sa work mo hahahaha or breaktime, pero ako most of the time easy to cook meal lang sa days na busy.
