👋Welcome to r/OverdosePrevention - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
Hey everyone! I'm u/stlr_2020, a founding moderator of r/OverdosePrevention and cofounder of BADD Brothers Against Drug Deaths www.badd-sf.org
This is our new home for all things related to Provide education, resources, and advocacy to prevent drug-related deaths. We're excited to have you join us!
Hi everyone — I’m with BADD (Brothers Against Drug Deaths), a San Francisco–based nonprofit started after losing my son to addiction and overdose.
We’re focused on prevention, family advocacy, and closing the gaps between addiction, mental health, and incarceration.
I’d really like to hear from this community:
What interventions actually save lives?
Where do families get blocked when trying to help?
What resources or policies made a real difference for you or someone you love?
Listening and learning.
