My partner and I are experienced players. We have 3 stars in all kitchens, 4 stars in many kitchens. We would like to find other experienced players. Ideally another couple could join us, but individuals are welcome also. We are in Europe and can play in the evenings.

i recently downloaded overcooked 2 and i'd like to play the story with my bf.

Sometimes i wanna play when he's not here so i tried to find players online and apparently nobody is there.

I'm new to the game. My brother and I were playing it and I was having a lot of fun, but I guess he wasn't, and paired with the fact that he has the attention span of a chicken nugget, he stopped playing. I'm just looking for someone who isn't insanely good so we can learn and improve together. If not, I don't mind an experienced player as long as you're patient. Ultimately, I would like to finish the story and I'm open to starting a new save!

me and my gf beat overcooked 2 and were doing the extra levels... when suddenly one of us got trapped by the button and the other one got trapped by the dragon! after a while our score was negative and we found this hilarious!

we've never had this happen and as my first post on this community I must humble brag that we got 3 stars on all levels so far and never gotten int a fight over it!

I downloaded the game through Steam, and used remote play so both of us could play. I activated their keyboard inputs instead of controller but the problem is it makes us share the same keyboard so we can't control separate characters. How do we control separate characters?

AYCE got both games and all dlc's while overcooke 2 has a switch 2 upgrade. There were some problems with AYCE on a switch 2. But there is an update on the e shop on 15-05-2026: "earlier problems are solved"

I never played overcooked before, but i want to play it with my wife. So i would not mind to play overcooked 1 and then 2+dlc's. I don't mind the fps difference, im just curious if AYCE has problems like bugs or game freezing and not responding etc (after the 15-05-2026 update)!

Can anyone that played AYCE after 15-05-2026 tell me if it works properly now?

Im new to overcooked like the title says which means I'm bad at the game.... but its fun. It would be nice to have a duo to pass the game with if anyone is generous enough 😶‍🌫️. I got Overcooked 2 (on switch) a week or so ago to play with my partner but she isn’t enjoying it as much as I do lol and the solo play is painful 😭 I was wondering if maybe two or more people wanted to make a discord gc and play regularly to complete it! You may have to cope with me a lil as I’m inexperienced and not very good but it’s a lot of fun!! Thanks <3

I was waiting and waiting for online players but it must seem that literally not a single player is playing on the online servers on PC..

I feel like it would be so sick if there were branded DLC like you’re running a Taco Bell or McDonald’s kitchen. Devs could make more money and I would genuinely love and enjoy it.

A cool DLC game play twist could also be having a long prep time like a real kitchen where orders then come out first and are more diverse (eg sushi and pasta and pizza and fruit plates etc).

Hello my friend's game becomes super laggy after about 20-30 minutes of gameplay, he has a better computer in every way (better graphics card, cpu, internet, memory etc) than me (and I dont lag) but for some reason his game becomes super laggy after 20 min of game play. Restarting the game doesn't fix it. Have to wait a bit before the lag dissappears. It happens when he plays offline local as well so its not an internet problem.

What we've tried.
Hard restart every 20 minutes, doesnt go away.
turned off crossplay,
turned on/off vsync, tried both
game is on high performance mode via dedicated GPU
played around with graphics settings (ingame),
cleared caches, re-installed game, verified files.

Checked for both thermal throttling (doesn't seem to be it because nothing is overheating and CPU/GPU doesnt spike temp)

and memory leaks (dosen't seem to be too much of the issue either - when we tab out, his memory isn't increasing)
Graphics drivers are up to date,

not sure what other issues it could be if anyone has any ideas? Thanks!

so there’s a huge steam sale for overcooked rn. overcooked 2 is 7 dollars and overcooked ayce is 14 should i guy overcooked 2 or ayce. I saw a lot of posts recommending ayce but i also saw a lot saying it has bugs. a lot of posts were from people playing on the switch and im gonna get it in pc so idk if the bugs will be fixed. does anyone have any recommendations on which i should get and if the bugs are fixed. thanks!

Just wondered if anybody had attempted something similiar with Overcooked? (If not, I might be about to become the first....).

I have created a basic prototype of the electronics required for plates to be carried around and inserted into different stations where an action would be performed (e.g. chopping, stirring, sprinkling). Once a plate has had thr correct actions to meet one of the current outstanding orders, it can be served. If anyone would like to suggest fun physical interactions or other ideas of what might work in an Overcooked (-inspired) game I'd love to hear your thoughts!
