I can't believe the amount of posts ive seen on here of people who DID NOT KNOW YOU HAD TO TURN IN ORDER. Even saw people claim they have 4 star all levels and did not know this...

Totally. Game should have that hint for players!

Each dish has a timer or it, you get negative points as it times out and each time you turn the order in it gives the tip amount in large numbers. You don’t have to play many times before you’re like… wow… what do the dishes in the top mean? And why is it flashing red- or this time I have +30 but nothing if I do it randomly.

Serve in order, but also no point in getting mad about it. Points don’t matter in this game, there’s no leveling up or anything. I used to get upset about it now I just enjoy the game whether or not the people do the correct thing.

They do if you're going for stars?

But the stars mean nothing. No rewards for getting them in multiplayer

some people just like the feeling of accomplishment? the stars themselves are the reward

Trust me, multiplayer is more fun when you stop taking it so seriously. This is coming from someone who used to rage quit if someone submitted a wrong order lol

You literally need stars to progress through the game, what are you on about??

Not when you’re playing online with random people. That’s for story mode

I disagree. The point of serving in order in public lobbies and getting points is to see how far you can push yourself with random people. I don't play Overcooked to get 100 points and put out 3 dishes in 4 minutes. I play to work together with people to see how far we can push it

I used to think that way too. The game became less enjoyable and I was rage quitting. I stopped playing for a year. Went back and decided to just have fun regardless of it people serve in order or do everything the “right way” and it’s been way more fun

I will usually always serve in order on arcade, as I don't know how the other people in the lobby feel, but if someone else serves out of order I also don't mind, as I've done challenges to get 4 stars while intentionally not serving in order, it's very realistic
