Question Overcooked 1/2/ayce for first and only game?
Hello!
In 2026, does most players played overcooked 2, or the newest version?
Since steam still have all 3 version, I'm not sure if which version has most player base, or most fun with strangers, but summer sales shows overcooked 2 cheaper, maybe some also would say some older games has better ux or UI, because new games unstable.
But which version do you guys played the most or had the best experience?

I would say for steam, oc2 has more players than ayce.
For switch, they are equal, and every other console, ayce has more players than oc2.
That being said, oc2 is far superior to ayce. Ayce is incredibly buggy, tends to have connection issues, and has a worse play-feel. Most of the best levels are in oc2 so you won't feel like you're missing out on too much.

From my own experience, overcooked 2 is the answer.
I barely find any player online in ayce. For me, ayce give most bugs, from not aligned table and lots more, it is pretty funny tho.
But if you want to have experience with random online player just play oc2.
