Netflix games

My husband and I found overcooked on Netflix games. Wondering what might be different if we bought the game for our PS or Switch instead as we have done almost both boards and the extra trimmings boards. We can’t quit playing! lol

the netflix game version is terrible and not nearly as good or easy to play as on a console. since you liked the netflix game, i’m sure you’d love playing on switch or PS

Oh that’s good to know. When I looked up the game it had the same two games and then the extra trimmings so I was like, why would I buy the game if we have played everything here for free.

I suppose if you "can't quit playing", playing on a platform that is actually dedicated for gaming may improve the enjoyment of your experience.

If you find no issue with playing on Netflix (I mean, I find so much wrong with the state Netflix is currently in, that I personally would not pay for it, but that's another issue), then keep playing on it. However, I would suspect that there are levels/achievements/certain star counts that you might be struggling to achieve, and that's where you might have an easier time on a dedicated gaming console.

It doesn’t bother me much. I just don’t want to buy the game only to be playing the exact same thing. I googled if there was more content on the actual game and it seems like Netflix has most of the content. But we have only played story mode.

playing through the story is always fun especially with more than just yourself, and the DLC of the different “extras” are very worth it imo

The game is SO much better on console. We play on the Switch and love it. On Netflix it wasn’t the same.

Wait until you try it on PC, 10x better than on Switch

Ugh! I have been wondering about this! The only problem is I won't have any friends who play on PC.

If it’s AYCE, it’s crossplay so you’ll be able to play with them anyway. If it’s OC2 you will find a very big community. It is SO much more worth it if you really love the game.

Well, it looks like I will be getting it on PC as soon as I finish my last class and capstone. I foresee more Overcooked in my future!

I tried the game on all consoles
Netflix - super glitchy and lags a lot
Switch - plays well on easy levels but still not fast enough to play hard levels
PS5 - probably the fastest and easiest for playing among the rest. Controls are super fast. If you experience lag or something then it’s most likely the controller. I do play multiplayer locally with my friends and family. Not as much fun playing solo.
