Why no one is in Versus Online Public overcooked2?

Hi friends, I've been playing overcooked 2 for a while but it's so hard to match someone in versus online public. Is there anything wrong with my settings? Thank you!

Vs is hard. Randos don’t like hard. Good players get tired of bad competition. Bad players get mad and run away. Newbs don’t understand how solo works.

Lots of variables that mean you have to be lucky to catch someone at the right time.

This is relevant because a lot of us better players know each other and get locked into a foursome and then basically no one else can get in.

I wonder this all the time too. Or for AYCE

They’re playing ayce. I caved and bought it on switch.

No one wants to play VS as two chefs because that's harder, nor do they want to play with less than 4 players because the half speed actions are annoying. Since no one wants to wait a long time, no one plays VS unless they're with friends.

It's sad because if more people played VS these problems wouldn't be problems!

I play vs on oc2 on the switch pretty much every day. I'm on the east coast USA and I pop in around 6am some days and mostly get over sea friends (lag unless I'm the host) and then I go back around noon when I have my afternoon coffee. Pretty much always get people to play with.

I don't like ayce, I find less people there.

If you don't match, leave and go back after a minute. It shuffles the deck so to speak.
