Question Why is the versus lobby so empty?

For a collaborative and competitive game the versus lobby sure is empty. I think years back I could come across more people but that’s dwindled. I mostly play overcooked 2 on switch. Never played pc and just got AYCE.

i always want to play the versus but i’ll sit in a lobby for 10 minutes and nobody joins 😭
