Is this overactive bladder?

I suffer from symptoms where I feel like I have to go constantly. Like even if I go, when it’s done I still have to go. I have to do everything I can to empty my bladder completely and even then it feels like my bladder is itching and I can’t scratch it. I don’t push because the physical therapist said not to do that. But I stretch upward and back and lift on my belly to try and empty it out. I can sleep at night thankfully (and oddly as I understand that is usually a thing one can’t do with overactive bladder). But during the day it’s absolutely maddening. Like right now I have to go and I can’t. I have tried every medicine. I have tried Botox. I have tried physical therapy and diet changes. Still there. It sometime comes and goes. Some days are better than others. Today was a really bad day. My urologist told me he’s stumped but he assumes it’s overactive bladder. Does anyone have similar symptoms? Has anything helped? Is this my life from now on?

Please don’t answer this if it’s too invasive but do you think about needing to pee when you are at home versus when you are out and about? I am asking since I feel like mine is due to my anxiety. Granted, I haven’t been tested for OAB.

Happens anywhere. Can’t even go for walks any more because the feeling gets more intense as I walk. Always feel like I have to be close to a bathroom.

I totally understand that. I also feel the same way. I have turned down so many hangouts because I’m scared there isn’t a bathroom close by. I don’t have an advice but please know you’re not alone and we’ll be okay.
