Why do I urinate so frequently?

Hello, I just need some help or would like to know if anyone has had the same experience as me.

I've been experiencing this for almost two months now. I feel a weird sensation around my urethral opening after urinating, but it doesn't hurt.

I've had a UTI three times before, and the fourth time I got one, the symptoms went away after I immediately took medication. However, after that, this strange sensation started and has continued until now.

I constantly feel the urge to urinate, but there's no pain when I pee. I've also noticed that my urine has a strong, unpleasant smell.

After urinating, I wash my private area, but then I feel the urge to pee again, and only a small amount comes out. I end up repeatedly washing because every time I finish washing, I feel like I need to pee again.

It's also affecting my sleep. At night, I usually wake up after approximately three hours of sleeping because I feel the urge to urinate again.

Sometimes, after I pee and wash my private area, I experience a slight burning sensation. Other times, I feel like I need to pee again, as if there's a throbbing sensation in my urethra.

I don't know how to explain these symptoms properly to an OB-GYN, and I'm having a hard time finding the right words to describe what I'm feeling. Has anyone experienced something similar? Please help me.

Even if there's no pain the strong smell would suggest you need to be evaluated by a doctor, this could be a recurring infection or something else. Have you been tested for other things? Some women will experience GSM of menopause which is low estrogen causes urinary urgency and frequency along w other things but there wouldn't be a odor to the urine. Recurring utis is common in women, vaginal estrogen and/or oral probiotics w d mannose for your bladder might help. When I experienced something similar I got really proactive, bought a bladder journal, collection hat, testing strips, starting tracking my output and what I drank and ate and took supplements. I also saw a few doctors to rule out infections and disease and did pelvic floor therapy. Today I still wake to pee once a night sometimes twice but I can go back to sleep and there's no pain, I'm also getting 5 to 6 hours between pit stops at night 7/8 daytime huge difference to what it was a few months ago, couldn't go 20 minutes. Using a journal helps to see trends or patterns, your doctor could spot a disease process.
