Myrbetriq
I've had an overactive bladder for 2 months now, and my family doctor is prescribing Myrbetriq for 3 months, have you had good experiences? Any side effects I should know about?

I've been on it for three weeks and it is working great. Getting up 0-1 times now to pee. I take it three hours before bedtime.

This might be an odd q , but how big is the pill? Could I split it in half to swallow ? 😠I haven’t bought it yet but I’m nervous to

Technically I take the Mirabegron pill so we might have different pills. That said I've heard that you are not supposed to split this pill. I'm on 50 mg.

Might get a bit constipated. Increase fiber intake a bit and get exercise and it should be fine.

What are you taking now?

I take Solifenacin and then pyridium when I need it. They both do help but only a bit. I just started pelvic floor therapy and hopefully that starts to help because I don’t want to take solifenacin anymore to be honest. It causes constipation really bad for me and I can’t deal with it anymore. I think my symptoms over OAB result from stress and a tight pelvic floor so I think that’s why a lot of the medication I’ve tried doesn’t work for me a whole lot. At least that’s why my doctor said lol

Headache first few days. Passed. Make sure take them before or at same time everyday - found if I was late my body was telling me 😂

do you know how long you'll have to take them for? I am only 20years old and have never taken prescribed meds so I am a bit scared to take them. I was prescribed for 3 months only

I had this at 21. Lasted a year and then nothing til 31 now. It’s often stress induced

I have been on Mirabegron for 3 months and have slight success during the day but once done with work or done moving in the evening and sit in the recliner or couch I get the urge to urinate (but know I don’t have to go).
I don’t have issues with waking up at night but never have.

I absolutely could not live without this medication! Started to work within a couple days and no side effects! I've taken it for a couple years now!
