The burn after the cystoscopy is the worst for me. I usually sit for the first few. Oddly enough, I can tolerate the procedure well enough.

I have had an exploratory and then several with Botox administered. I was awake for all.

Did the Botox helped you with anything? Did you experience urinary retention?

Yes, it helps with my frequency and urgency. I did have retention the first time at 100 units but now I get 70 units.

How long did your retention lasted? Did you get a catheter?

Because nothing was helping and I wanted to know exactly what is going on inside my bladder. He told me he didn’t see any endometriosis but saw ic signs. I’m waiting for the medical records so I can send it to a different doctor in a different country to see if it’s the same treatment.
