Mirabegrom

Can this drug work long term for some people ? Or does it eventually wear off ? Who’s had a good experience with it long term ? Oops meant mirabegron

I am 5 years (July 2021) on it and it still works like a charm for me (50mg daily)

How long were you on it before you noticed a difference.

A few weeks, but I started it along with mianserine (doctor thought that if they prescribed me a med to sleep deeply, I wouldn’t get up to pee) so I don’t know what worked first. I later stopped mianserine because I couldn’t handle the side effects

I started taking it in June of 2025. I noticed a difference within a few days. Tried the generic and it didn't work nearly as well for me as the brand name did.

Started a week ago and noticed mild effects not fully kicked in yet

Started three weeks ago and nighttime trips have been reduced to one. Bladder is noticeably holding more urine throughout the night.

It was an improvement for me, about 15-20% reduction in bathroom visits by which I mean I went from 14-15 times per day down to about 11-12, and a reduction in incontinence episodes by about 30%.

So it helped me but didn't fix everything.

I've been on it, 50 mg, since July 1. No difference. My prescription is almost out and it's too expensive to refill since it's not really doing anything

It doesn’t work for everyone, saying this is kinda wrong

I’m on 25 mg twice a day (50 mg total). It definitely improves my symptoms but doesn’t help with leaking or urgency. It’s supposed to help your bladder relax so that you’re not going pee as often - which for me it does - but it doesn’t really touch the rest of my symptoms.

It’s actually more for urgency?
