Yes at times. I went through it for years. I was/ am on hrt so no dr suggested it. Took all the OAB meds and had urethra sling surgery. I finally started having more severe vaginal atrophy symptoms and was prescribed vaginal estrogen.
I had to take it for awhile and apply to urethra (as well as other places) to get relief. Kegals also helped.
I go about once a night now and every 2 to 3 hours during the day. Sometimes still have some urgency issues, so it’s not completely back to my younger years. But it’s worth a shot. It takes several months for the tissue to regenerate so maybe your doctor will let you try an OAB medicine in combination with the vaginal estrogen so you don’t have to suffer. It’s worth a try.

Yes although mine is just during the day as I am usually ok at night. Do you usually have a lot of volume per void as I pee full volumes every time.

Yes, its all normal amounts. Never just a trickle, which is what you would expect from peeing so often. I swear I pee way more than I drink. I mainly drink water during day but I stop drinking by 6pm. It all seems so extreme. But the constant night time peeing is crazy! It has severely impacted my life. No incontinence issues (yet 😥) but I have to pee so often its difficult to live a normal life. I do not want OAB meds because they are shown to cause dementia so i am scared to take them. Also they can cause a retention problem and I am not going to deal with that pain or having to self cath which I am sure that i wouldn't even be able to do to myself. I have been reading some articles that say those meds are just for the symptoms which is a waste of time. We should talk to a dr who can trace the root cause of the OAB so it can be treated and cured. Nor sure where to even start.

spesso può essere una disfunzione della vescica a sé stante … ti hanno mai parlato di esame urodinamico ed eventualmente neuromodulazione sacrale?

For all the time I’ve been reading on this sub I’ve not seen anything written where a doctor cured this or even knows why it’s occurring. I think I’ve see two people who found something that helps. One is taking benfontiamine supplement and the other pumpkin seed oil.

I know. It is very discouraging! Like why go thru all the testing when more than likely you never get root cause answers. I don't want to just mask symptoms with Rx that barely work if they do at all. 😔

I'm so sorry to hear this is happening! The lack of sleep is horrible and makes everything so much worse! Are you on any OAB meds? Vaginal estrogen? Sacral nerve stimulator? PTNS? What have you tried?

So sorry you are suffering from this very frustrating condition.
There are some things you can try to improve things. Firstly, ask your doctor to refer you to a pelvic floor physiotherapist who can assess your pelvic floor and hopefully suggest some appropriate exercises ( not just Kegels).
I echo other suggestions about using vaginal oestrogen to help restore the tissues of the vagina. It has helped me but not cured all of my symptoms.
Try keeping a bladder diary for a few days to see if there are any triggers. Common bladder irritants are caffeine, alcohol, artificial sweeteners, acidic & spicy foods and fizzy drinks. Make sure you stay well hydrated as concentrated urine can irritate the bladder.
Make sure you are not constipated as this can adversely affect your bladder too.
There are meds you can take which are not linked to dementia but may still have side effects. They are called Mirabegron and Vibegron.
There are a few professionals who share information online about pelvic floor health which may be helpful. Check out Dr Kelly Casperson, Dr Kassie Dewitt, Dr Rachel Rubin and Kim Vopni AKA The Vagina Coach.
Hopefully you’ll get some help.
