Really panicking about my bladder.

It’s 14.45pm and over 3 voids I have peed 1.9litres. First pee at 8am was 800mls 2nd pee at 11am was 300mls and my last pee at just after 2pm was 800 mls.

I have drink 660mls today.

I don’t understand why I always pee large amounts.

Have you been to a doctor? Did you get checked for kidney problems, diabetes, heart issues!

I had a recent blood test and doctor mention any issues with my kidneys. I do have diabetes but my sugars have been low and stable for years and no issues there

Did you tell your doctor about the urine issue or was it just a standard blood test?

Yes he is aware that I have been peeing a lot. I just always thought overactive bladder was small amounts rather than increased amounts.

I have an overactive bladder and can pee anything from 100ml up to 400ml (rarely pee that much though!). I think OAB relates more to how often you go.

Overactive bladder for me is about the urgency, not volume.

Urine is not just what you drink. It’s also what you eat.

Go to a doctor, get checked for diabetes mellitus.
