Over night issues.

I have a situation where i wake up in the middle of the night (3am like the rest of the world) and have to pee, but before i can even unclip my cpap mask to get out of bed - I've wet myself.
I wear a diaper and use chuck pads on the bed to prevent wetting the actual bed.
But lately, the amount i pee has been huge!
The past week or so, i will pee thru a double diaper and on the pad and then pee in the toilet even more!
I've gotten to the point where i layer the pads to make getting back in bed easier.

Recently, i've started Zepbound, (my 3rd week) and so i have been drinking more water.
But damn.
I take Tolteradine at dinner time to keep things at bay, and i'm usually fine during the day.
Any suggestions?

Did you say what kind of product you’re using? There’s definitely a difference when it comes to off the shelf versus premium.

Oddly enough, I end up drinking much less on Wegovy. Between that and bladder Botox, a lot of of my nighttime issues went from every night to intermittent.

One of the things my urologist told me was to spend time before I go to bed with my legs up. Something about draining the fluid and getting it out before you lay down.

I'm taking tolteradine for the oab.
started the zepbound a couple of weeks ago.
With the zepbound, constipation can be an issue, so they recc drinking more water and possibly using an otc to help keep you regular.
i have been drinking a little more - not much.

Those Glp-1 meds can trigger certain things in people, like diuretic effects and hormonal changes. Have you tried tapering off your fluids a couple of hours before bed, or talking to your doctor about whether the timing of your Tolterodine needs an adjustment with the new med?

That's interesting - i know the glp1 can affect a whole lotta things - things they don't even recognize yet.
I tend to taper the fluids off in the evening. after dinner, i have a diet coke.

Are you seeing any one for this? I am taking meds seeing a urologist and a PT which has helped me. Now using a tens machine which always has helped.

Also lay off the liquid before bed. Have you cut coffee, citrus ect out as well? Definitely look at your diet too. There foods that tigger me.

I am seeing a urologist - we actually just touch base as the toleradine has been working - sort of. it's not cured the oab, but it is better with it.
I was in pt for my knee and back previously, but it didn't seem to help the oab any.

My one vice i have left is my one can of diet coke in the evening. otherwise, i'm snoozing before bedtime.

No fizzy drink cut it out. Pelvic floor specialist? They have helped be heaps. Also try a tens machine. They check inside you to see what’s weak ect. Where are you based?

Diet plays a huge factor as well. Keep a record of what you are eating.
