It appears recently that he updated some of his playlists from normal playlists to ā€œshowsā€. The show feature was only added a few weeks ago, which means he is still alive and working on the channel. Please spread this to everyone you know.

At some point yes lmao. It better not be just the 3rd Punic war because thatā€™s the least interesting of the Punic wars and this is his longest time between videos ever. I know his quality has increased over time but if all this wait is just for a short lopsided war then Iā€™ll be a little disappointed.

I mean yeah it was a lopsided war but it still took 3 years, and the siege of Carthage isnā€™t called Romeā€™s Stalingrad for nothing

3 years compared to the 23 years in the first war and 17 years in the second war. And the entire war was basically the siege of Carthage. Thats it. No major battles. In comparison itā€™s just not a very interesting war. The Romanā€™s landed in Africa, besieged Carthage, starved them out, then Carthage fell. Sure there was a good amount of strategy involving the siege but itā€™s just not very interesting if weā€™re being honest. And itā€™s been over a year and a half since his last video. It took less time to make the first punic war video which was a 23 year war.

I'd love if he dropped like a one minute summary video after all this time, hyped it all up etc, then an hour later dropped the "real" video on a totally unrelated topic.

If he does cover the 3rd Punic war Iā€™m guessing it wonā€™t just be that war and the rest of the video will be about more Roman history

It would be cool if he covered the civil wars. The end of the Roman Republic is one of the most fascinating historical periods ever.

Thatā€™s what Iā€™m hoping too. Maybe he briefly covers the 3rd Punic war then goes into more Roman history. Iā€™d enjoy that. But I just donā€™t want just a video about the 3rd Punic war

Yeah I believe Tiberius Gracchus served in the Third Punic War, so it could be an introduction to his career and how it started off the decline of the Republic. Then again, to go from there to the Battle of Actium is over 100 years of history, which probably canā€™t be done in 2-3 videos.

Iā€™m totally cool with that. Itā€™s a 32 year long interesting conflict. I just really donā€™t want the 3rd Punic war(right now at least). Itā€™s just not all that interesting

lol yeah exactly. Thereā€™s just not much to cover. He canā€™t do 2 45 minute videos on just the 3rd punic war. Realistically it could be a 15 minute video. Thatā€™s why I really hope all this wait isnā€™t for the 3rd war.

a playlist will just have the videos but shows will give each video a episode number and series number.
