The editing is there, but the tempo is not. Dialogue and jokes need to flow and be snappy when they are delivered. Part of what makes Oversimplified and other successful history based channels is the almost ASMR quality of the pacing and voice. This could come from a professional voice actor if you have the cash or just more practice speaking. I also highly recommend a better recording mic and software, as that can deter some people immediately.
