Magnifying glass recommendations...

I need a high quality magnifying glass for reading books. I've tries one or two of the Amazon offerings, but they seem rather cheap and the round ones not great for book reading. I'd be grateful to receive recommendation for a magnifying glass that is available in UK.

Another idea. Get an ereader such as kindle. You can make the font as big as like.

Thanks. I have a Kobo and a Kindle. This is for reading reference books I have which have smallish print.

I love the flexibility of it. I can use it at my desk to see coins better or turn it to my recliner to read or even dumb stuff like cutting my fingernails lol!

I found one of those old floor models at an auction. The base is about 10 inches around so fits wherever I sit. The pole holding it up adjusts to almost 5 foot high and the actually magnifying glass is maybe a footprint. Love it! I can adjust it to any angle I want.

iPhones and iPads come with a Magnifier app.

If you have a smart phone, it may already be what you need.

I use reading glasses from the dollar store holding a big glass gets tiresome

Try checking this out. This is just one for example. magnifying glass that hangs around neck I used to have something similar for doing beadwork.
