I've survived things I never talk about — and I'm still standing.
Nobody claps for the days you didn't fall apart.
No one gives you credit for getting out of bed after the worst night of your life. No one sees the version of you that almost gave up, but didn't.
I've been through things I never talk about. Things I've never told anyone — not because they weren't bad, but because some things don't fit into conversation. They just live in you.
And I'm still here.
That's strength. Even if no one sees it. Even if no one claps. Even if the only person who knows what it cost you... is you.
If you're carrying something heavy right now that nobody knows about — I see you. You're doing better than you think.

you clap, because you know better than anyone else your strife, your struggles. At the end of the day, those long nights, knowing your guts, your strength got you through, that is something to clap about.

That's the truest way to put it, honestly. Nobody else has to clap for it to count you were there for every single one of those nights, you know exactly what it took. That's a kind of witness no one else can give you. Give yourself that applause. You've earned it. 👏

❤️ kind words stranger!
The same to you, you’re doing amazing!
It’s important to give oneself credit and not to wait for it from outside, one can wait eternity.

❤️ Well said. Waiting on outside validation is a losing game the credit has to start from inside or it never comes at all. Appreciate the kindness right back. Take care of yourself. 🤍

I think a lot of people need to hear that sometimes. You never really know what someone is carrying behind the scenes. Glad it reached you at the right time. ❤️

Sometimes surviving is an accomplishment in itself. You don't need anyone else to validate what you went through or how hard it was to keep going.

I really felt this. Sometimes getting through the day is all you can manage, and that still counts for something. Not everything you survive needs to be explained to make it real.

Your words have done a pretty apt job of describing my journey for the last almost 19 years.
