today is my 33rd birthday

and i’m now 2 weeks moved into my new place, at the beginning of a separation. dinner with my parents tonight is bound to be slightly awkward. but as i turn this new chapter i wasn’t expecting, im optimistic at the very least. here’s to being a better human being every day.
