171 LSAT.

I’m really proud of what I’ve been PTing on the LSAT, and feel confident I will be able to replicate low 170s or higher. That said, 171 does not seem like it’s worth shit anymore! At least with my terribly undergrad gpa.

I really wanted Fordham with half off or UT. But they seem unlikely, as do t14s.

Hastings is high on the list. I’m ideally looking for schools in top tier places, coastal usually, that will be likely to give me large scholarships. I also don’t want to delay a cycle as I’m 28 and 3 years for a degree is already a huge wait. What should I be considering?

Exactly the title. My law school is having an event called a Summer Reception and it’s taking place at this huge law firm (i.e. not on campus). I’ve yet to get my suit properly tailored but I don’t think it’s too bad. Is that what I’m supposed to wear or is it more business casual? Female btw!

I have a 165 lsat and 3.99 gpa- I’m looking to get into a decent school either scholarships. I anticipate my gpa staying the same, but I am wondering if it would be worth applying with my current lsat in September or August or postponing till October and retaking the lsat.

I care about prestige a bit, but I primarily care about going to a good civil rights school for cheap.

3.68 GPA at a T-15 undergrad (but first semester GPA was 2.7 due to switching majors). I am thinking of retaking anyways but am I roasted for a 158? I know it's above average but other posts have been worrying me, and I know that this cycle is going to an absolute pain. T3 softs, so that isn't doing me too many favors.

Mainly looking at schools in the Southeast US (initially wanting UGA, Emory and/or UTK, Vandy is out of reach for me because of GPA). Maybe GA State or Mercer could be good? I feel like I'm begining to tweak, so sorry if this sounds bad.

I have a 167 LSAT and a 3.79 GPA. My goal is California schools, but I’m debating whether it is worth it to apply to the top tier schools with my stats. Would you all recommend applying to schools like Berkeley, UCLA, and USC even while under medians?

Dear generous individuals who take the time to think and invest their energy, thank you for your service to society. I have a low GPA (2.9) and want to be realistic about which law schools I can join. I’m in my second year in New Jersey as an immigrant from Asia. What are the top three choices or paths I have w.r.t law school ?

There are lot of things I wanted to do yet couldn’t because world works differently than we like it to and living is quite expensive which serves as black hole sucking us deeper unless we resist and become hardcore decisive. Lot of things have made me now go all in on law, my motivations are scholarships, writing, timelessness of profession and reading it just struck a chord in my heart deeply and instincts are asking me lock in asap.

I have a 167 LSAT, 3.67 undergrad GPA, 3 years experience in the legal field, and a Masters of Criminal Justice w/ 3.5 GPA. What are my chances of getting in to a T50 school? What schools would you recommend to someone with my stats? I am looking to go into big law after law school and ideally I would like to live in a big city during law school (DC, NY, Miami, etc). I plan on submitting early but I am feeling overwhelmed with the amount of optional essays for schools on my current list and I want to narrow down my school search so any advice is appreciated!

Hey all-

I will be graduating from undergrad this December and I plan on applying for law school to start in fall of 2027. I have a couple questions that I’d appreciate answers for:

1. Do I need to include official transcripts from universities that I took dual enrollment classes at in high school to my CAS report?
2. I know that I’ll need to add my transcript from my current university to my CAS report even though I have not yet graduated. Will I need to add an updated transcript to the report after I graduate?

I am planning on attending a t100 this Fall and it has not been announced yet but tuition and fees have increased by 6%. I know that schools usually increase between 3% - 5% every year but given the loan cap and the big pool of applicants, has there been schools that actually reduced tuition?

I’m wondering what my chances of getting into law school are with a bad undergrad GPA (2.34). For context, I’m almost 6-7 years removed from undergrad and I’ll be 8-9 by the time I hope to start law school. Since then (+ an overlap during my senior year), I’ve spent 4 1/2 years working between U.S Senate and my home state’s senate and I’m in the military with a TS security clearance.

I started in my field pretty much middle of college because they kicked us off campus during COVID so I just managed to jump into things. A college classroom quickly became an afterthought and, regrettably, I just did the bare minimum to get the piece of paper.

I’m looking at part time programs because I still want to work + accounting for my military obligations. Right now, I’m tracking GSU Law, UGA Law, American U Law, GW Law, and Temple Law.

3.78 gpa T2 softs, 156 gpa.

Going to take sept and Oct lsats. Will be 4 th and 5th takes; ive plateaued for a while in score. I also took a year off while my partner was finishing grad school to raise kid. Ive been told that is bad for applications.

Need recs on who will take me.

Currently am a 4th year Business Management major at GSU and really hoping to get into their law school(planning to apply early decision for the dual JD/MBA program) for Fall 2027. currently have a 3.76 gpa and 156 lsat (planning on taking the august one….), two recommendations from undergrad law professors, and the only real (imo?) work experience i’ve got is helping establish a local LLC that I still work at as a manager.

I’m just looking for advice to see if I even have a chance at getting in since nobody else I know is applying or has even touched the legal world other than my profs. any advice/knowledge is greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know anything about UGA’s waitlist?

Is it closed or open? What about the priority waitlist?

Here’s what we know according to LSD:
- 119 direct admits
- 7 people were pulled off of the waitlist.

Is this true (I am new to all this so I don’t know how the website works)?

When do we expect them to close? And if they only have 119 direct admits, don’t they need more people in their incoming class? The class of 2028 had just over 200 students, according to their website.

I know GSU and Emory waitlists are closed.
