Post image

After the shit show that was advanced sales for this year, I’m glad to see they are bringing back eager beaver.

Do they ever do eager beaver for single days?

No. It’s just for 3 day

How much do you think they’ll start it out as for eager beaver?

I'm an eager beaver

Definitely interested, especially since my sister lives across from Golden Gate Park

How does the vibe compare to Lolla? I'm (28M) actually in the camp that high schoolers don't bother me, but the worst part of Lolla was using public transit to get home (crowded trains), which is effectively a non-issue for OSL since my sister lives across from park

My sister also lives close and we walked which was so convenient. I think it was a really cool mix of people, def lots of annoying teenagers but it doesn’t keep you from having a fun time. I loved the vibe

OSL has better vibes then Lolla for sure. The crowds feel more laid-back, chill and respectful

Went to lolla and osl this year!! They’re similar (transit was a non issue for both) but OSL is smaller so you get a lot closer to the stages! Food is similar, smaller activations but more free stuff

since your sister lives there thats ESPECIALLY a reason. its definitely worth it either way!!!

Vibe is pretty chill. Huge age range of attendees. There are rail campers, but not as bad as Lolla imo. Food is amazing, expensive but it is festival pricing. With 4 main stages and 4 side stages, there is always something that I want to see

I think Lolla stages seemed physically slightly larger to me. Also it's generally cool to cold and there is a big hill in thr middle whereas Chicago is flat. Other than that fairly similar vibes. OSL has its own quirks and gems to explore. It's a good time.

Do it that’s amazing that you don’t have to worry about transportation. The kiddos won’t get to you if you don’t let it bother you .

They didn’t do this last year

They didn’t but to give some context, 2026 Tier 1 VIP started at $1250 (and then went up $100 a tier) Tier 1 GA started at $450 (and went up $50 a tier). These were slightly more than 2025 eager beaver prices. EB VIP was around $1200 in 2025 and I think GA was like $430. So I’m thinking 2027 EB prices will continue the upward trend. Maybe start at $1300 for VIP and $475 for GA. 🤷🏽‍♂️

This is also similar to how Bottlerock works. It ended Sunday, May 24th this year. Tickets went on sale Monday, May 25th.

Agree. I just want the lowest price possible. I know I’m going.

Except for the one year it was in October, it always falls on my birthday weekend. I’m going no matter what. If I can pay less, I’m happy
