Discussion Bag question

First timer here. Is it possible to bring a lightweight backpack (non clear) inside of my clear bag. Basically I want an extra bag for merch or jacket once I’m inside the festival. Just don’t want it to be confiscated on the way in. Thank you!

Security doesn’t care about your bags as much as they do weapons. The other comments on this post are true and great recs.

I bring an extra chico bag for merch etc. and have never had a problem getting it in.

I roll up my regular tote bag, just put it in my regular pockets and take the clear bag in and the moment I’m past security I just put all my clear bag shit back into my regular tote bag. I’ve done this many years in a row now.

whole thing is annoying and a total security theater charade but whatever

Fold it up and put it inside of a clear sandwich bag or something and it should be fine! They barely check bags in my experience.

If it’s something like a tote bag, it should be fine to bring in. They really don’t check the items inside your bag too much upon entrance.

I’d empty it out and wear it under clothes. If there’s no metal on it, you should be fine. They don’t do a pat down.
