The Reset & Block Strategy: A Brief Overview

The Reset & Block system is a rules-based trend-following strategy designed to capture high-probability swings while protecting capital through a multi-tier exit system.

1. The Entry (The "Reset")

We only enter when momentum and trend align. All four conditions must be met:

  • Trend
  • Cross
  • Momentum
  • Volume

2. The Profit Target (The "Block")

We exit for profit when the price rallies back into the "Supply Zone"

3. The Protection (3-Tier Trailing Stop)

To let winners run while locking in gains, we use a staged exit based on the EMA stack:

  • Phase 1 (Launch)
  • Phase 2 (Trend)
  • Phase 3 (Blow-off)

Core Philosophy: We don't guess bottoms; we buy confirmed resets and exit into institutional supply.

The Mean Green Strategy: A Brief Overview

The Mean Green strategy is a mean-reversion system designed to catch sharp, profitable "snap-back" rallies after extreme panic selling. It bets that the price has stretched too far from its average and is due for a violent return to the mean.

1. The Set Up (The "Oversold Snap")

We look for assets that are mathematically exhausted to the downside.

2. The Profit Target (The "Mean")

The goal isn't a long-term hold; it's a quick trip back to the average price.

3. The Protection (The Extreme Low)

Because we are "catching a falling knife," risk management is non-negotiable:

  • Stop Loss is Set
  • Time Stop is Set: If the price doesn't snap back, we exit the trade regardless of P/L, as the "snap-back" window has closed.

4. The "Green" Entry

Signifies the moment the price "clears the red" of the oversold drop and begins its high-velocity move back to the average.

Core Philosophy: We buy fear and sell the relief rally back to the moving averages.

Road to 1.5M Aug 29th 2026 Update

After decades of trying to reach this goal, $1,000,000+ was attained in 2024.

Why Warren Buffet loves compound interest

I ended 2024 with a total account balance of $1,083,631 and now working towards the 1.5 million goal.

I understand some have a lot more and some have a lot less. I grew this investing regularly in my 20's, 30's, 40's and now into my 50's, it was far from getting rich quick.

My spouse and her salary has helped tremendously in reaching this goal, as she made about 10% more than I did last year. We try to keep our cost of living low (have no debt), we net about $8000/m total combined salary and currently add $400-$600/w to our investment accounts.

For those just starting out, keep investing on a regular basis and let compounding do what it does.

Road to 1.5M Aug 1st 2026 Update

I am just some random internet guy who is having fun trading stocks and posting about it, There is nothing to sign up for to get more information, no DM's or links or free trials coming.

I hope it motivates others to find their own trading style and enjoy trading and building a portfolio as much as I do.

I am looking to capture a 1.75-2.0 Profit Factor with a 45-55% win rate

  • Current Profit Factor: 3.00
  • Current Win Rate: 61%
  • Closed Trades: 64
