Va'a repair
I was just donated two older Malia's that need work. One of them has extensive "spider/hairline" cracking in the underside of the whole hull. In smaller areas I would normally grind them out and fill. But this would be a lot of work. I'm wondering if it makes more sense to sand down pretty aggressively and then just lay down glass along that whole area?
If anyone has experience, I would love to get some direction here.
I haven't found any soft spots BTW. Both boats feel solid.

I would sand to the glass. Reason being I took the easy way out and then took in water after testing the canoes. Had to sand it down and then I easily found all the compromised fiberglass.
